Lewes waterman arrested for undersized channeled conch violations

 

DOVER DELAWARE(Nov. 10, 2015) – DNREC Division of Fish & Wildlife Natural Resources Police officers arrested a commercial waterman from Lewes Nov. 6 after discovering a hidden catch of undersized channeled conch on his vessel during a compliance check boarding. Channeled conch are also known as smooth conch, smooth whelks or channeled whelks.

Two Men Charged for Assaulting Guests at Halloween Party in Voorhees

Camden County Prosecutor Mary Eva Colalillo and Voorhees Police Chief Louis Bordi reported two men have been charged for allegedly assaulting several people at a Halloween party in Voorhees.

Emirullah Sayin, 22, of Delran, and Mithat Ceylan, 22, of Delran, each face two counts of second-degree aggravated assault, two counts of third-degree aggravated assault and one count of second-degree conspiracy to commit aggravated assault.

Obituary | Anna C. Rothman of Runnemede

Anna C. Rothman (nee Volz), on November 10, 2015, of Runnemede.

Age 91. Beloved mother of Gary (Kathy) and Bruce (Margie). Devoted grandmother of Victoria, Shawn, Alicia, Denise, Joshua, Jeffery, and Bryan. Loving great grandmother of eight and dear great great grandmother of two. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Anna was a member of the Flower Committee at Trinity Lutheran Church, the Ladies of Auxiliary of VFW Post 7247 in Barrington, and many other social organizations.

There will be a viewing from 9am to 11am Saturday morning at Trinity Lutheran Church, 200 E. Clements Bridge Road, Runnemede, NJ 08078.

Funeral service 11am at the Church.

Interment Chews United Methodist Cemetery, Chews Landing. Donations may be made in Anna’s memory to Trinity Lutheran Church.

ATLANTIC CITY An Atlantic City man died last night in an Atlantic City Police Department holding cell, Atlantic County Prosecutor Jim McClain announced.

Yesterday morning, November 9, 2015, a 41-year-old Atlantic City man was arrested by police on a non-support warrant, and lodged in the holding area of the Atlantic City Police Department at approximately 10:50 a.m.
