Rothwein Named Defensive Player of the Week

Rowan’s Madison Rothwein (Mt Royal, NJ/Kingsway Regional) has been named the IWLCA Division III Defensive Player of the Week for her performance in the #23 Profs’ two wins last week. 

The sophomore midfielder delivered a dominant two-way performance during a 2–0 week for #23 Rowan, which was highlighted by a 13-11 road win over #14 Stevens. Across the two contests, Rothwein recorded 12 draw controls, five caused turnovers, and 10 ground balls, playing a key role in controlling possession for the Profs on both ends of the field.

Polar Bear Plunge in Seaside Heights This Weekend!

The 33rd annual Polar Bear Plunge at Seaside Heights to benefit Special Olympics New Jersey (SONJ) will take place this Saturday, March 14.

Adult Night at LegoLand Discovery Center

Friday, March 13, 2026 | 6-9 p.m.

When the littles are away, the grown-ups come out to play at Montco’s Legoland Discovery Center.

This 18-and-over after-hours event includes full access to the Lego-inspired play space, including its themed build stations, 4D theater, Imagination Express train ride and its miniature Lego-fied replica of Philadelphia called Miniland. On top of Legoland’s regular attractions, let your imagination run wild with Lego art projects, a Shamrock scavenger hunt and more.

RSC Members Call for Democrats to End Political Games

WASHINGTON, D.C.  In Case You Missed It: Members of the Republican Study Committee (RSC) are calling for Congressional Democrats to end their political games and reopen the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). Last week, more than 200 House Democrats voted against DHS funding, leaving the agency hobbled as an alleged ISIS-inspired attack struck New York City this weekend and TSA wait times surged to nearly three hours at major airports. 

With national security threats mounting at home, Democrats are choosing partisan politics over the safety of the American people.

Women Owned Businesses to Hold Wingwomen Collection Drive

Philadelphia, PA – In honor of Women’s History Month, twenty-eight female-owned and led businesses in Manayunk have teamed up to help support women in the community. The 5th Annual Manayunk Wingwomen Program invites neighbors, visitors, friends, customers and clients to donate essential items for prenatal and postnatal parents and menstrual health and wellness. Items can be brought to participating business locations on Main Street through March 31, 2026.

Town Hall Meeting Honors Local Veteran

The Board of Commissioners will meet in Collingswood on today, March 12, at Collingswood Community Center, at 6 p.m. for Camden County’s town hall meeting and service fair, featuring representatives from the local, county, state, and federal levels.
