Governor Mikie Sherrill announced the New Jersey Department of Transportation (NJDOT) Major Access Permits (MAP) process will become fully electronic beginning on July 30, 2026.
The transition away from paper applications supports the Governor’s Executive Order 5 (EO-5) to simplify and modernize the State’s regulatory processes to save time and money, and improve affordability, accountability, and transparency.

The Camden County Board of Commissioners joined with environmental leaders from across New Jersey on Tuesday morning to unveil a comprehensive plan for a generational investment designed to improve water quality throughout Camden County.
This historic effort will encompass the Cooper River, Kirkwood Lake, Atco Lake, Evans Pond, Wallworth Lake, and several other crucial watersheds throughout the county. Once complete, these coordinated investments in wastewater infrastructure, stormwater management, habitat restoration, sediment remediation, and recreational improvements will make the Cooper River and surrounding waterways throughout Camden County one of the cleanest and healthiest urban watersheds in the United States.

“Most people think of aortic dissection as a rare condition, but it’s more common than many realize,” says Joseph Bavaria, MD, Chair of the Department of Cardiac Surgery at Jefferson Health and an international expert on dissection and aortic diseases.
Characterized by a tear in the aortic wall, dissection is a life-threatening medical emergency. It develops suddenly and often without warning, although the underlying aortic disease or weakness that increases the risk of dissection may have been present for years.
