Kick off the week with a little cathartic group screaming! Brought to you in coordinated-yet-chaotic harmony, Philly’s own Bearded Ladies invite you to sing along to tunes fit for welcoming America’s 250th anniversary (with all the freedom of speech that entails).
On the menu: eats like loaded hot dogs, cheesesteaks, flatbread pizzas and giant Philly pretzels (!), plus a variety of craft beer, wine and cocktails. The beer garden is free to enter, with weekday happy hours from 4 to 6 p.m.
Philadelphia is about to raise a glass to 250 years. The Brewers Association has announced the official commemorative beer for the 2026 Craft Brewers Conference® & BrewExpo America® (CBC®), coming to Philadelphia this April. It is a true beer born in the birthplace America. ‘Of the Brewers. By the Brewers. For the Brewers.’ is a 4.7% ABV pale lager brewed as a true industry collaboration across every tier of the brewing community. Yards Brewing Company in Northern Liberties was tapped to produce the beer, which is now in production in time for the event. The public can enjoy an exclusive limited release at the Yards Brewing taproom, at 500 Spring Garden. Supplies for the public first come first served.
The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) is retracting the public health alert issued on April 1, 2026, for Walmart Great Value Fully Cooked Dino Shaped Chicken Breast Nuggets with “Best If Used By” date “Feb 10 2027” produced by Dorada Foods after confirming that the product does not pose a public health concern.
The public health alert was originally issued based on routine surveillance sampling conducted by the New York State Department of Public Health that indicated elevated trace levels of lead. Because this product is commonly consumed by children, FSIS issued the alert to inform consumers of a potential risk.
The Yards Real Ale Invitational returns later this month at Yards Brewing Company. Discover and sample over forty unique beers from the Mid-Atlantic’s finest brewing establishments at the region’s only cask-conditioned beer festival on April 12th from 12:30pm to 4:00pm. Immerse yourself in the atmosphere of the Yards brewing facility, surrounded by towering walls of kegs, cans, and bottles, all while indulging in truly historic brews and enjoying live music, good food and even better company.
Real Ale isn’t your typical beerfest. What makes the Real Ale Invitational truly special is that it’s all about Real Ale; beer that is unfiltered, unpasteurized and has been naturally carbonated inside a cask. Yards has played a pivotal role in reviving this brewing method, a tradition that traces back to England, over the last thirty years with their renowned Extra Special Ale (ESA). A beer that they always keep available on cask at their taproom.

A familiar pattern is taking shape in neighborhood nightlife. A regular walks into a bar to catch a match, notices a few screens showing odds movement and live sports coverage, then ends up in a conversation with people who came for the same reason but from very different circles. That moment matters. It shows how local bars and lounges are becoming social filters for digital play. They are turning individual mobile habits into group rituals, and they are doing it through atmosphere, timing, and shared attention.
For operators, venue owners, and platform watchers, the shift is worth studying closely. Local iGaming nights are not simply themed events built around betting culture. They are a modern update of the old bar invitation – meet here, watch together, talk through the action, stay for the social energy.
