Peacefully after a long illness surrounded by his loving Parents : Philip H. Mund, Jr. and Margaret I. (nee Sayers). Devoted brother of Jodie Boos and Renee Mund. Survived by many loving and devoted friends and family.
Steven was born in Camden and raised in Brooklawn. He was a graduate of Gloucester City High School Class of 2002. Steven worked as a nuclear technician for Bartlett Inc.

The Best Of Times is a memorable look back at the 1950’s and 1960’s and should be entertaining to watch for anyone that grew up in that era. Since I was born in the 1960’s it was a little before my time but I still enjoy the music and looking at the muscle cars as I’ve always had a thing for the oldies since I was a kid. SAN FRANCISCO (CN) – Major League Baseball on Thursday asked a federal judge to dismiss Minor League players\’ antitrust class action lawsuit that accuses the 30 teams of conspiring with the commissioner to fix their salaries.
Lead plaintiff Sergio Miranda sued Office of the Commissioner of Baseball and the 30 Major League teams in December 2014.
Miranda claims that Major League Baseball\’s reserve clause lets teams restrict Minor League players from negotiating with other teams for seven years, denying them \”the freedom of movement available to players in virtually all other professional sports in the United States.\”
Average salaries of Major Leaguers have risen by more than 2,000 percent since 1976, while Minor Leaguers\’ pay increased by just 75 percent, according to the original complaint.

Ten years ago, Hurricane Katrina and its impact on New Orleans and the Gulf Coast staggered the nation. A major American city was under water, more than 1200 fellow Americans were dead and hundreds of thousands of people were displaced with damaged or destroyed homes. Direct damage costs were in excess of $125 billion and estimates including the ripple effects on the economy were more than $200 billion. And Katrina was just the biggest storm in a year that also saw Rita and Wilma have massive impacts and the National Hurricane Center exhaust the list of names for storms and start using Greek letters.

The United States Navy Band performs some songs from Jersey Boys at this outdoor concert from 2014 filmed at the U.S. Navy Memorial. These guys aren’t your average sailors and I would suspect that much like the other service bands they are all talented professional musicians.

LAWRENCEVILLE, NJ—The coaching staff for the 2016 Rider University baseball team has been completed, head coach Barry Davis announced.
In July it was announced that Rider grad John Crane ’96 was returning to his alma mater to be the new pitching coach.
Joining Crane on the staff will be assistant coaches Jake McGeary and Matt Maher. \”We are thrilled to have Jake and Matt on our staff this year,\” said Davis, the 2015 MAAC Coach of the Year.

Deputy Sheriff Darren Goforth was shot and killed from ambush while pumping gas into his patrol car at a commercial gas station at the intersection of West Road and Telge Road, in Cypress.
Deputy Goforth was on patrol and had completed an assignment at the scene of a vehicle collision. He when to a local gas station to fuel his patrol car. As Deputy Goforth stood next to his patrol car filling it with fuel, a male subject walked up behind him, and fired multiple shots. After Deputy Goforth fell to the ground, the subject shot him several more times before fleeing the scene in a pickup truck.
