Reminder for the week: Delaware fishing license required for fishing, crabbing, clamming
DOVER (July 17, 2015) – To achieve public compliance through education and enforcement actions that help conserve Delaware’s fish and wildlife resources and ensure safe boating and public safety, DNREC Division of Fish & Wildlife Natural Resources Police officers between July 6-12 made 1,568 contacts with anglers, boaters, hunters and the general public, including 255 vessel boardings for boating safety and fishing regulation compliance checks. Officers responded to 81 complaints and issued 91 citations. This week, with an expanded Fish & Wildlife Natural Resources Police presence continuing to be deployed as a deterrent, no citations were issued at the C&D Canal Conservation Area and associated recreational trail.

The Centers from Disease Control and Prevention\’s (CDC) July report documents a disturbing increase in heroin use. The use of this highly addictive and dangerous drug is now expanding to all demographic groups. In fact, the most rapid expansion of heroin use and addiction is now occurring among segments of the population that up until recently were not as impacted: women, and people with higher incomes. This signals a disturbing widening of a problem that had already reached epidemic proportions. Deaths from heroin overdoses have tripled over the past several years with more than 8,000 people now dying annually.

Patricia Natalie Busarello Ablett (nee Lynch), on July 21, 2015, of Bellmawr, formerly of Mt. Ephraim. Age 88.
Beloved wife of the late Edward \”Scotty\” Ablett and John P. Busarello, Sr. Devoted mother of Michael Busarello (Susan), Patricia Busarello, William Busarello (Maureen), Robert Busarello (Michele), Barbara Busarello (William), and the late John P. Busarello, Jr. Loving grandmother of 14 and great-grandmother of 12. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Patricia was an active member of the Mt. Ephraim Democrat Club, Mt. Ephraim and Bellmawr Election Board, Bellmawr Senior Citizens, and the Good Timers Roller Skating Club.
There will be a visitation from 9:30 to 11am Friday morning at GARDNER FUNERAL HOME, BELLMAWR, 200 S. Black Horse Pike, Bellmawr, NJ 08031 (856-931-9450).
Funeral service 11am at the funeral home. Interment private at the request of the family.
