Cherished grandfather of Madeleine, Luc, Wade Thomas, Anna and Cara. Dear brother of Mary Siegel (Raphael) and the late Rose Wdzieczkowski (surv. Bruno).

Tom was a graduate of Gloucester Catholic High School class of 1950. He proudly served our country in the U.S. Navy. Tom was the owner and operator of Porch & Robb Plumbing and Heating in Gloucester City, where he also served as the Plumbing Inspector for many years. He was a longtime member of the Gloucester City Lions Club and the Gloucester City Senior Citizens Association.

Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Saturday morning, July 11, 2015 from 9:30 to 11:30 AM at the McCANN-HEALEY FUNERAL HOME: 851 Monmouth St., Gloucester City.

Mass of Christian Burial 12 Noon at St. Mary’s Church: 426 Monmouth St., Gloucester City, NJ 08030.

Interment New St. Mary’s Cemetery, Bellmawr.

PHILADELPHIA, July 7, 2015 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ — The family of Dr. Elizabeth Karnicki, former college professor and advocate for seniors, asserted in a wrongful death complaint filed today that on May 8th she was struck and killed by a tourist duck boat while crossing a busy intersection because the vehicle had \”huge blind spots\” that its careless and inattentive guide-operator failed to properly manage. The lawsuit was filed on behalf of the Karnicki family by Saltz, Mongeluzzi, Barrett & Bendesky P.C., which successfully represented the families of the two Hungarian teenagers killed five years ago today in the duck boat disaster on the Delaware River in Philadelphia.

DC Police Arrest Man In Shocking Rush Hour Train Stabbing | The Daily Caller

JULY 6, 2015–District of Columbia police arrested a man Monday morning they suspect was behind the stabbing murder that took place on the Fourth of July in a crowded subway car.

Jasper Spires, 18, was out of jail no less than 24 hours before he fatally stabbed Kevin Sutherland, 24, in what is believed to be a botched robbery attempt, The Washington Post reported.

Spires was considered so dangerous by city police that police chief Cathy Lanier sent a wanted flier with his picture on it to every patrol officer on the force and his description broadcast by dispatchers every two hours until he was captured.

Earlier in the week on Thursday, D.C. police arrested Spires after he robbed a man in Northwest Washington, WUSA9 reported. After originally being charged with a felony, police bumped the charges down to a misdemeanor and released him early Friday.

Spires allegedly stabbed Sutherland while the two were aboard a train during the crowded Independence Day rush of tourists headed into the city to celebrate the holiday.

Brian Duley and Michael Glinecke Indicted for the Offense of Strict Liability for Drug-Induced Death

Cape May Court House, New Jersey – Cape May County Prosecutor Robert L. Taylor announces the indictment of Brian Duley, 30-years-old, of the Villas section of Lower Township and Michael Glinecke, 20-years-old, of the North Cape May section of Lower Township for the offense of Strict Liability for Drug-Induced Death, a crime of the 1st degree. 

On October 31, 2014, the Cape May County Prosecutor’s Office Major Crimes Unit and the Lower Township Police Department Detective Division initiated an investigation into the overdose death of the victim, George Letzgus, 51-years-old, of the Villas section of Lower Township. During the course of the investigation it was learned that the defendant, Brian Duley, had distributed heroin to the victim which caused his death.

Rider Grad Hits Game-Winner in Pro Debut

TRAVERSE CITY, MICHIGAN—Recent Rider University graduate Eric Strano of Robbinsville, NJ knocked in the game-winning run in his professional baseball debut Tuesday night.

A 2015 First Team All-Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference catcher, Strano got the call on Sunday to sign with the Southern Illinois Miners of the Frontier League. He drove 14 hours to meet the team in Michigan and started Tuesday night.

Obituary | Anna Marie Weeks of Haddon Township

Anna Marie Weeks, age 33, passed away suddenly on July 5, 2015. Currently a resident of Haddon Township, NJ, Anna was born and lived most of her life in Michigan.

Daughter of the late Gary and Shirley (nee Crank) Weeks, Sr. Loving sister of Gary L. (Megan) Weeks, Jr. of Haddon Township, NJ. Anna is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles and cousins, as well as the Carnes family.

Funeral service and interment will be private at this time. There will be a memorial service celebrating Anna\’s life in Michigan at a later date.
