Pittsburgh PA (May 7, 2015)–Detective Paul Koropal suffered a fatal heart attack while participating in serving of 11 search warrants in Fayette County, Pennsylvania.

He and other members of a federal narcotics task force were serving the warrants when he told his partner he wasn\’t feeling well. He was taken to the Uniontown Hospital where he suffered a fatal heart attack at approximately 2:30 pm.

Detective Koropal had served with the Allegheny County District Attorney\’s Office for 18 years and was assigned to the Pennsylvania State Police Auto Theft Task Force. He is survived by his wife and two children.

Mr. Krueger was a member of Pipefitters Local 322 for 47 years. He started as an apprentice in 1967 and was a business agent from 1979 to 1988. He was a business manager from 1988 to 1997 and retired in 2002. Mr. Krueger was a former member of Harmony Gun Club and Collingswood Cloud Masonic Lodge #101 F & AM.

There will be a visitation from 6 to 9pm Friday eve and 10 to 11am Saturday morning at GARDNER FUNERAL HOME, RUNNEMEDE.

Memorial Service 11am Saturday at the funeral home. 

Interment private.
