WOODBURY NJ (November 7, 2014)–Lot Webber (DOB 7/15/69), of Mullica Hill NJ, whose criminal history and driving record include many convictions, was denied a reduction in bail today on his latest drunk driving and narcotics arrest.

 Even Webber’s lawyer acknowledged in asking for a bail reduction from $10,000 that his client had a \”long record,\” while adding that Webber did cooperate with police in a 10/29/14 Mantua Township vehicle stop, consenting to a search of his car. Six packets of cocaine were found. Webber’s driver’s license was suspended at the time. Webber has no funds for bail, his lawyer said.

 Assistant Gloucester County Prosecutor Vincent Malfitano said any lowering of bail was \”not appropriate,\” given Webber’s history of 14 felony convictions and a driving record that \”is replete with drunk driving.\” Webber was sentenced 2/5/13 to 18 months in state prison after pleading guilty to driving during a second or subsequent drunk driving suspension. Superior Court Judge Paul R. Porreca denied the bail reduction motion.

The Pennsville Memorial High School football team rallied from an early 15-0 deficit to down Gloucester, 25-23, on Friday night, clinching the West Jersey Football League Classic Division title and the No. 1 seed in South Jersey Group 1.

The Eagles improved to 7-1 overall and 5-0 in the Classic, while the Lions – who will likely head to the postseason as the No. 3 seed – fell to 6-2, 4-1.

In a series that has often been ruled by offense, the Pennsville defense stepped up at the end. Trailing by two after turning the ball over on downs in Lion territory in the fourth quarter, the Eagles got the ball back at the Lion 41 when Seth Singleton recovered a fumble.

Josh VanBlarcom scored on a 24-yard TD run three plays later to give the Eagles a 25-21 lead, and the Eagles – who took a safety in the last two minutes –didn’t allow another first down the final two drives.

Gloucester jumped out to a 15-0 lead four minutes into the game. Justin Graves made several defenders miss on a 23-yard shovel pass on fourth-and-6 on the opening drive, then after a turnover, Ken Barton scored on a 20-yard run.

WOODBURY NJ (November 7, 2014)–Danny L. Davis (DOB (9/30/85), of Williamstown NJ was arrested 11/5/14 on a bench warrant for failing to appear for a pre-arraignment interview on robbery and related charges.

 Davis, taken into custody at the 364 Kali Lane, Williamstown home of a relative, is being held without bail. He was apprehended by officers of the Fugitive Unit of the Gloucester County Prosecutor’s Office.

 Davis is charged with second-degree robbery, second-degree burglary, third-degree theft and third-degree aggravated assault in connection with a 2/9/14 incident in Williamstown in which a man was choked and robbed of cash.

SAN FRANCISCO (CN) – A Vallejo attorney must pay more than $87,000 after his defamation and copyright lawsuit against two websites was dismissed, a federal judge ruled.
Dionne Choyce sued San Francisco Bay Area Independent Media Center and its Internet service provider Layer42.net in 2012. Choyce claimed the Media Center posted defamatory comments about him on its aggregate news site, Indybay.org.
He also claimed the organization broke copyright laws by publishing one of his images without permission.
