Maureen B. McLaughlin, age 61, of The Oak Valley Section of Deptford on November 6, 2014, after a lengthy illness, surrounded by the ones she loved.
A strong and feisty woman, Maureen was the glue who held her beloved family together. A perfectionist, she was known for her meticulous housekeeping and memorable holiday celebrations. A voracious reader, Maureen could often be found with a good book especially by Stephen King. Maureen was a graduate of West Chester University where she obtained her Bachelor’s Degree. She loved being an office manager and medical assistant with James Gorman, DO, Voorhees for many years, where she enjoyed making friends with many patients. Solving crossword puzzles, Sudoku, traveling and spending time with her family were just a few things that Maureen enjoyed.
She is the beloved wife of 34 years to John A.; devoted mother of Andrew M. and Kyle J. (Kelsey); loving sister of Bonnie Talucci (Joseph) and sister-in-law of Diane Kubacke, Barbara C. and Joseph M. McLaughlin; loving grandmother of Kasey and special aunt of JoJo.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her visitation 12 PM and Memorial Ceremony 1PM Wednesday in the McGuinness Funeral Home, 34 Hunter St., Woodbury.
