Lorraine Cunningham, 78, of Haddonfield

Lorraine Cunningham of Haddonfield, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on May 28, 2026, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Philadelphia to the late Thomas and Dorothy Cunningham, Lorraine devoted her life to her family and her community.

She spent 25 years teaching first grade at Saint Peter’s Catholic School in Riverside, where she touched and enriched the lives of countless children and families through her care, warmth, and dedication. She didn’t just live life; she embraced it fully, bringing warmth and joy to everyone lucky enough to cross her path. A proud and active member of the Irish Society, Lorraine was often found dancing and enjoying music with friends. She also took great pride in caring for her grandchildren, cherished her time at the beach, and was a devoted Phillies fan who loved cheering on her team.

Lorraine is lovingly remembered by her children, Heather, James (and his wife, Lottie), and Bethann; her cherished grandchildren, Connor, Luke, and Chloe; and her brother, Thomas (and his wife, Sue), her sisters, Mary and Nancy, and her niece and nephews, whom she loved very much.

A celebration of her life will be held on Tuesday, June 9, 2026 at Christ the King Church, 200 Windsor Ave., Haddonfield, NJ 08033. Family and friends are welcome to attend. Visitation will take place from 10 AM to 11 AM with Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 11 AM. Interment private.

Carlos Steven Romero Guzman, 27, of Westville

On June 1, 2026, at the age of 27, Steven passed suddenly from injuries sustained from a motorcycle accident. Of Westville. Survived by his wife, Devin Lee Romero Guzman (nee Amerman) and their children, Carlos Jr, Veronica and Vicky; parents, Carlos B. Romero Torres and Miladis Guzman Gomez; brother, Michael Romero Guzman; maternal grandmother, Teresa Gomez; girlfriend, Tiffany Almodovar; and beloved friends, Billy Johnson, Ricky Smith, Nicholas Pierce and Tyler Tran.

Steven was a graduate of Gateway Regional High School, class of 2017. He was an avid outdoor enthusiast, who enjoyed hiking and riding his motorcycle. Steven’s family and friends will forever remember him for his dark sense of humor, giving nature and always being there to help anyone in need.

Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Saturday afternoon, June 6th from 12 to 2 PM at the McCANN-HEALEY FUNERAL HOME, 851 Monmouth St., Gloucester City. Funeral Service will be celebrated at 2 PM in the funeral home. Interment will be private.

Gary Alan McClintock, 66, of Maple Shade

On May 2, 2026, Age 66 of Maple Shade. Gary was raised in Upland, Pennsylvania. He proudly entered the U.S. Navy on September 22, 1977 and was honorably discharged on March 3, 1978.

Gary’s U.S. Navy Military Honors and Interment were on Tuesday, June 2, 2026 at 1 pm at the Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Cemetery: 350 Provinceline Road, Wrightstown, NJ 08562.

John R. Atkinson, Sr., 95, Formerly of Bellmawr

John R. Atkinson, Sr., age 95, of the Glen Oaks section of Gloucester Township, New Jersey, passed away peacefully at home on May 24, 2026. He was born on April 3, 1931, in Bellmawr, New Jersey, and lived a wonderful life marked by devotion to family, service to his country, and many years of hard work and fellowship.

He was the beloved son of the late Ethel (nee Morgan) and John Atkinson. He was also predeceased by his siblings, the late Cyril and Margaret (Joe), and he is remembered with love by his extended family and all who knew him.

John was a dedicated husband to Shirley (nee Haug) and together they built a life centered on family, love, and lasting memories. He was the proud father of John, Jr. (Betty), Alan (Patty), Brian, Kevin (Sue), Kathleen (the late Elmer), Donna Jean (Jim), Cindy, Chip (Pam) and Shirley. He was also the cherished grandfather of 34 grandchildren and the proud great-grandfather of 30 great-grandchildren. In addition, he is survived by numerous nieces and nephews who will remember his warm presence and thoughtful nature.

Patricia A. Abbott, 81, Born in Riverside

Patricia “Pat” A. Abbott, 81 years old, passed away peacefully on May 16, 2026.

Born on October 19, 1944 in Riverside, New Jersey, Pat lived life on her own terms and followed a path shaped by independence, service, and personal interests.

Pat proudly served in the United States Army as a drill instructor, an experience that remained one of the defining chapters of her life. She especially enjoyed her time stationed at Fort Richardson in Anchorage, Alaska and often reflected on those years with pride and appreciation.

Edwin Craig Gramley, 78, of Gloucester City

Edwin Craig Gramley, Jr. of Gloucester City, NJ passed away Tuesday, May 19, 2026 at the age of 78 years.

Preceded in death by his parents, Edwin C. Gramley, Sr and Dorothy J. (nee Lawson), his siblings Alice Pierce (Robert), John Gramley, Nancy Gramley, and Dave Gramley (the late Ginny). He leaves behind his loving sister Dorothy Hancock (the late Rick) and his brothers Mark Gramley (Vicki) and Roy Gramley (the late Sandra). He also leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews.

Craig was a carpenter by trade, and he loved fishing and playing pool.

John Anthony Castrataro, 62, of West Deptford

On May 19th, 2026, at the age of 62, John passed peacefully at Cooper Hospital in Camden, NJ. Of West Deptford. Formerly a longtime resident Of Bellmawr.

Survived by his children, Lisa Castrataro, Nichole Castrataro, Christopher Lacovara, Anthony Lacovara and Desiree Beebe; grandchildren, Andre English, Lea English, Nicholas Lacovara, Giavonna Castrataro, Julia Wiggins, Brienna Lacovara, Salvatore Lacovara and Kye Sullivan; longtime partner, Bonny Tittermary; brother, Michael Castrataro III, and Lisa Liquori, as well as many nieces and nephews. John was predeceased by his parents, Michael Castrataro Jr. and Nancy Fortuna Castrataro, and his brother, Joe Castrataro.

John was a longtime auto mechanic and formerly owned and operated John’s Auto Clinic in Bellmawr. Above all else, John was a devoted Poppy to his cherished grandchildren and adored each and every one.

On May 13, 2026, age 86 Of Westville. Formerly of Gloucester City. Predeceased by his loving wife of 55 years Helen Marie Duffy (nee Murphy).

Survived by his children, Dan Duffy, John Duffy (Kelly) and Patrick Duffy; grandchildren, Alec, Warren, Keegan, Kaitlyn, John, Fallon, Shane, Ellen, Erin and Teri and 5 great-grandchildren; sister, Eleanor Megee (late Donald). Predeceased by his brothers, Edward Duffy (late Elsie) and Michael Duffy (surviving Susan). Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Daniel proudly served our country in the U.S. Navy. He worked many years for Aluminum Shapes in Pennsauken before his retirement.

Joseph Bryan Johnson, 23, of Pennsauken

On May 11, 2026, at the age of 23, Joseph passed suddenly at home in Pennsauken. Beloved son of Roger Bryan Johnson and the late Kelly McVeigh. Beloved brother of William Johnson (Koria Draper). Cherished uncle of Sonya Johnson. Also survived by his loving girlfriend Dyonna Wess, as well as many loving aunts, uncles and cousins.

Joe was a graduate of Gateway Regional High School, class of 2021. He was currently working as a longshoreman for Holt Logistics in Gloucester City.

Joe enjoyed the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing.
