CNBNews reached out to Jeff Frymire to update his brother’s obituary.

Toby chose to donate his body to science, a decision reflecting his lifelong commitment to helping others. Once this process concludes, he will be cremated. The Frymire family plans to gather for a private memorial service on December 4, 2025, celebrating a life well lived.

He made an indelible mark in the world of commercial real estate in Horsham, PA, where his dedication and passion helped shape the community for many years. Mr. Frymire retired a decade ago. He and his beloved wife, Linda, would have celebrated their 45th wedding anniversary on December 18, 2025.

Having spent the majority of their marriage in the town of Horsham, Toby faced health challenges over the past year. Those problems brought him into hospital rooms, rehabilitation facilities, and eventually a nursing home. Through it all, his warmth, kindness, and lasting legacy will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

GLOUCESTER CITY, NJ (November 19, 2025)(CNBNews)—Toby Frymire, a former beloved resident of Gloucester City and an extraordinary athletic figure in his younger days, passed away on November 4, 2025, at the age of 82. A proud 1963 Gloucester High School graduate, Toby grew up on Johnson Blvd, across from the Little League field, where his athletic ability was evident at an early age. As an athlete, he achieved incredible feats, including earning 14 varsity letters and becoming the New Jersey State pole vaulting champion.

Arrest Made in Homicide

PHILADELPHIA — In the early morning hours of Monday, November 17, 2025, at approximately 1:40 a.m., officers from the 25th District responded to a report of a male shot on the highway in the area of 1100 W. Venango Street. Upon arrival, officers located an unresponsive man lying between two parked vehicles in front of the 3500 block of North Warnock Street.

The victim, identified as 23-year-old Quamar Adams of Norristown, PA, had sustained multiple gunshot wounds to his back. Police transported him to Temple University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 2:05 a.m.

Following an investigation, detectives identified the shooter as 40-year-old Dwayne Robinson of the 6200 block of Langdon Street. Robinson is alleged to have fired at Adams from a second-floor window. He has been charged with Murder, Violations of the Uniform Firearms Act (VUFA), and related offenses.

Evelyn Barbano, grew up in South Philly

On November 16, 2025, surrounded by her loving family Evelyn Barbano peacefully entered heaven. Endearingly called Evie, was born on March 10, 1929 and grew up in South Philly to the late Ethel Frank (Koff) and the late Morriss Frank. Along side with her siblings the late Rita Frank and Florence Horwitz. 

Evelyn lit up every room she walked into; she had a way of making life feel lighter. She loved her bingo nights, the thrill of pulling the lever of the lucky 7s slots at the casinos, and was always ready to dance to her favorite band The Goodfellas. Her happiest place, though, was always in the middle of her family and friends. Evelyn didn’t just touch lives she changed them. To have known her was to feel loved, and to love her was one of life’s greatest gifts.

Wanted: Suspect for Residential Burglary Pattern in the 12th and 18th Districts

The Southwest Detective Division is investigating a pattern of residential burglaries committed by the same offender within the Southwest Police Division.

Incident #1:
DC 25-18-052892 SWDD

On September 27, 2025, at 3:30pm, an unknown person entered a propery on the 8xx block of S Alden Street through the front window and stealing electronics and clothes.

  • Suspect Description: Black male, medium build, light complexion, chin length dreadlocks wearing a light skull cap, light colored pullover hoodie with a logo on front and a large backpack.

Incident #2:
DC# 25-12-092033

On October 14, 2025, at 11:05 AM, between 5:00 and 8:00 AM, an unknown person entered a property on the 9xx block of S. Conestoga Street and stole the complainant’s wallet and various items, valued at $ 1,700.

Wanted: Suspects for Robbery in the 3rd District [VIDEO]

On November 9,2025 at approximately 1:25 AM, the victim was making a pizza delivery in the 1200 block of Wharton Street. While looking for the address, suspect #1 approached and stated that the pizza was hers. As suspect #1 took the pizza, suspect #2 pulled out a gun, pointed it at the victim and said, “Give up the food!” Both suspects then ran East on Wharton Street with the pizza.

Vincent N. Matarazzo, 82, born in Philadelphia

Vincent N. Matarazzo passed away peacefully on November 9, 2025. He was the cherished and devoted husband of Nancy Acello and the loving father of Anthony (Tatiana). Vince was born in Philadelphia to the late Nicholas and Ann Matarazzo. Vince is also survived by his brother, Lucky (Elizabeth); his sister, Carmella Snyder (Richard); his mother-in-law, Concetta Acello; and his brothers- and sisters-in-law: Janice Acello, Donna DiGennaro (Mike), Karen Acello (Bruce), Lisa Acello (Tony), William Acello (Jacqueline), Tina Conte (Mark), and Marty Castro. He will be deeply missed by his many loving nieces and nephews, as well as by his sons, Vincent and Christopher, and their families.

Philadelphia Police Report the Following Incidents

The following information is preliminary and subject to change as investigations continue. Updates will be provided as they become available.

At approximately 9:00 a.m., officers in the 14th District responded to reports of a shooting in the 7100 block of Stenton Avenue. Upon arrival, police located a 25-year-old malesuffering from gunshot wounds. The victim was transported by Medic 33 to Albert Einstein Medical Center for treatment. The scene remains active, and no arrests or motive have been established at this time. The investigation is being handled by the Shooting Investigation Group.

Earlier in the morning, at approximately 4:09 a.m., 35th District officers licared a 32-year-old male gunshot victim and a female sitting inside a red Dodge Charger in the parking lot of the district headquarters at 5932 N. Broad Street.
