Senior Emily McCutcheon has been named an NFCA All-American for the third consecutive year as announced on Wednesday.
McCutcheon was voted to the second team as an at-large. She becomes the fifth player in to earn the prestigious award three or more times and the 47th All-American program history.
The National Fastpitch Coaches Association All-America teams are voted on by the Association’s All-America Committees. In Division III, the committee is comprised of one member head coach from each of the NCAA’s 10 regions. All student-athletes who earned first, second or third team All-Region accolades were eligible for All-America consideration.
McCutcheon, an Early Childhood Education major, leads the team in pitching victories (21), ERA (0.99), innings pitched (170.0), complete games (17), and shutouts (6). In those 170 innings of work, the lefthander has tallied 99 strikeouts to just 14 walks. During the Profs’ current postseason run, McCutcheon was named the most valuable player of the NCAA Marshall Regional and the most outstanding pitcher of the NCAA Glassboro Super Regional. She also was named to the NFCA All-Region and NJAC All-Conference teams.
She is part of a pitching staff that boasts a 1.34 team ERA with an 0.97 WHIP and 20 total shutouts for the 42-9 Profs.
Rowan opens play at the 2026 NCAA Division III World Series on Thursday, taking on top-seeded Virginia Wesleyan at 11 a.m. from the Moyer Sports Complex in Salem, Virginia. The eight-team, double-elimination playoffs run through June 3rd.

Phillies, NEST to Host Skilled Trades All-Star Program for Students June 9
The Philadelphia Phillies and NEST, the pioneer of integrated facilities management, will partner to host the Skilled Trades All-Star Program, an immersive, hands-on experience designed to introduce Philadelphia students to career opportunities in the skilled trades. This year, the program will also offer a behind-the-scenes look at preparations for major events such as 2026 MLB All-Star Week, concerts, and more.
Taking place on Tuesday, June 9, 2026, at Citizens Bank Park, the program will welcome students from Philadelphia’s Liguori Academy. The event will give students insight into the planning, coordination, and skilled labor required to prepare the ballpark for Phillies games and other big events.

Rowan’s Brayden Davis has been named the Rawlings/ABCA Division III Region IV Player of the Year as voted on by the American Baseball Coaches Association. Davis was named to the All-Region IV First Team with fellow Profs Austin Kreyenhagen (Second Team) and Damon Suriani (Third Team) also receiving All-Region honors.
It marks the second year in a row that a Rowan player has captured the award with Phil Sedalis earning it in 2025.

Rowan’s Elaina Corson and Madison Rothwein have been named to the 2026 IWLCA All-America Team, with Corson earning selection to the second team and Rothwein gaining a spot on the third team. It marks the second year in a row that the Profs have placed two players on the All-America squad.
Corson (Hainesport, NJ/Rancocas Valley), a senior, is a repeat All-America Second Team selection, having earned the honor last year. The attack player closed out her career as one of the Profs’ finest. She is Rowan’s all-time leading scorer with 332 career points (273g, 59a) and tops the Profs’ list for goals with 273 in her four years.
She recorded 81 goals this year, which led the NJAC and ranks eighth in the nation. She added 19 assists to total 100 points, which gives her 100-plus points in back-to-back seasons. Corson notched five game-winning goals on the year and had a high of nine goals in a win over Sewanee.

Damitrius Hester won the javelin with a new #2 Division III all-time mark of 74.94 meters to break his own school record giving the men’s team its second-straight champion of the three-day meet as David Brown captured the high jump crown on Friday. Hester, who hit the new record on his final throw, becomes the 44th national champion in team history and sixth in the javelin event.
The men’s team (85 points), who were looking for a sweep of Division III Track & Field this season after securing the NCAA Indoor Championship back in March, was the national runner-up to the host Eagles (106 points). The second-place result gives the Profs its best finish at the outdoor championships. UW-La Crosse claimed both men’s and women’s national team championships over the three-day meet.

LA CROSSE, WI — David Brown became Rowan’s second national champion in the high jump to highlight day two of the 2026 NCAA Division III Outdoor Track & Field Championships hosted by Wisconsin-La Crosse.
Brown hit a PR with top effort of 2.15 meters to lead three other Profs in earning All-American honors. He is the third Rowan Student-athlete in as many years to be a national champion and 43rd all-time in program history. Noah Wampole was third (2.12 meters) and Jamile Gantt was fourth (2.09 meters) to earn first-team All-American. Damarion Potts earned second-team honors with his 14th place finish (2.03 meters).
Jason Agyemang clocked in a PR and the top time in the 110 meter hurdles prelims (13.72), which was also a meet record. Agyemang joins Kwaku Nkrumah (13.88) in the finals tomorrow. Anaias Hughes was 12th (14.42) and Val Augustin was 15th (14.63) as the duo garnered second-team All-America accolades.

A ninth-inning grand slam by Joey Bogart propelled #5 Rowan to a 9-5 second-game win over Randoph-Macon in the NCAA Division III Baseball Glassboro Super Regional, giving the Profs the sweep in the best-of-three series and a second consecutive trip to the NCAA Championship. Rowan won the first game, 11-7, earlier in the day.
Righthander Austin Kreyenhagen tossed his second complete game of the season to earn the victory and send the Profs to Eastlake, Ohio next week. The sophomore allowed five hits and struck out five to improve his record to 8-1.

GLOUCESTER CITY, NJ (MAY 20, 2026)(CNBNews)—The Gloucester City Police Department has charged longtime community activist Bruce Darrow of Brooklawn with the alleged theft of over $6,000 from the Carmen Paliero Basketball League. According to the press release, Darrow supposedly took the money between September 2016 and March 2026 during the time he was serving as president of the organization. The charge was placed on a summons pending a Central Judicial Processing Court Hearing.

Brayden Davis hit his second grand slam in as many days to push #5 Rowan past host Southern Maine, 13-8, and give the Profs the NCAA Baseball Gorham Regional championship. Rowan will now move on to the NCAA Super Regionals and will host Randolph-Macon next weekend, May 22-23, in Glassboro.
It marks the fifth NCAA Regional Championship in the last six years for Rowan and the second consecutive.
Davis went 2-for-4 with six RBI with Damon Suriani and Mason Dorsey getting three hits each. Christian Rice (6-0) compiled a career-high 10 strikeouts in 5.1 innings to earn the victory. Charlie Russell, Dane Samartino, Jack Norton and Evan Brasberger all saw action out of the bullpen while Davis pitched for the first time this season and got the final three outs before the Profs’ celebrated.
