Gloucester Township Police Department Reaffirms Commitment to Excellence

The Gloucester Township Police Department (GTPD) is proud to announce that both its Police Department and Public Safety Emergency Communications Center have successfully earned reaccreditation through the New Jersey State Association of Chiefs of Police (NJSACOP). This achievement reflects GTPD’s continued commitment to professionalism, accountability, and providing the highest level of service to the Gloucester Township community.

In 2023, GTPD made history by becoming the first law enforcement agency in New Jersey to receive simultaneous accreditation for both its Police Department and Public Safety Emergency Communications Center. Three years later, the department has once again demonstrated that maintaining these standards is not simply a one-time accomplishment, but an ongoing commitment to excellence.

“Accreditation is not just about receiving a certificate and putting it on a wall,” said Chief Anthony Minosse. “It is about creating a culture where we continually evaluate ourselves, hold ourselves accountable, and look for better ways to serve our community. This reaccreditation reflects the dedication and professionalism of every member of GTPD. I could not be prouder of the hard work our personnel put in every day, supporting one another and serving the people of Gloucester Township. This achievement belongs to our entire department, but it also belongs to the community we serve. Their continued support allows us to move forward, improve, and strive for excellence.”
