This Just In: Overturned TT shuts down 295 South at Aljo Curve

OVERTURNED TRACTOR TRAILER – Shortly after 1 pm on Monday, August 17, 2009 firefighters from Bellmawr and Mount Ephraim were summonsed to respond to 296 South at mile marker 26.8, the Aljo Curve for a tractor trailer that was over tuned. Crews arrived to find a tractor with a 35\’ long trailer had over tuned under the bridge that ruptured the sattle tank. Firefighters secured the fuel tank as EMS checked out the driver for minor injuries. The road is expected to be closed for a few hours as the tractor trailer that was hauling plastic pallets is up-righted. No other injuries were reported. NJ State Police are investigating the cause of the crash.
