It is time to bring the troops home from Afghanistan. Admit defeat and move on. We are stuck in a quagmire. It is Vietnam all over again. In the past several months there isn’t a day that goes by the Department of Defense doesn’t report another soldier has lost their life. Why do we (the United States) think that we can succeed where so many others have failed to conquer this god forsaken country.
