GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP NJ–An older 4 door dark sedan without hubcaps, possibly a late 80’s or early 90’s Buick or similar General Motors product, is captured on video exiting Brown Avenue onto northbound Black Horse Pike. The vehicle turns onto Garden Avenue, shuts off the head lights, and parks in a residential driveway across from the Liquor Store.

Reminder for the week: Boaters advised to use caution in bad weather, carry safety items

 DOVER (Oct. 9, 2015) – To achieve public compliance through education and enforcement actions that help conserve Delaware’s fish and wildlife resources and ensure safe boating and public safety, DNREC Division of Fish & Wildlife Natural Resources Police officers between Sept. 28-Oct. 4 made 770 contacts with anglers, boaters, hunters and the general public, including 23 vessel boardings for boating safety and fishing regulation compliance checks. Officers responded to 28 complaints and issued eight citations, one of which was related to the C&D Canal Conservation Area and associated recreational trail, where there is an increased Fish & Wildlife Natural Resources Police presence.

Holts Landing State Park boat ramp to close Monday, Oct. 12 for construction of new expanded ramp

 

DOVER DELAWARE (Oct. 9, 2015) –The boat ramp at Holts Landing State Park will be closed from Monday, Oct. 12 through early next year for construction of a new double-lane concrete ramp, DNREC’s Division of Parks & Recreation announced today. The adjacent parking lot will also be closed while the new ramp is under construction.

 The ramp project is expected to be complete, with full and expanded access restored, by January 2016, weather permitting.

911 Call Leads To Arrest Of Burglar Who Was In Possession Of A Handgun

On October 7, 2015 at approximately 6:30 pm, The Gloucester Township Police Department received a 911 call reporting a motor vehicle burglary in progress. The caller was a resident of the 1500 block of Walnut Ave. in the Hill Top section of Gloucester Township. The caller reported that the suspect fled the areas.
