Several roadway projects will be underway across Camden County during the week of August 10 to August 14.
“Motorists should plan ahead to take alternate routes and give themselves plenty of time to get to their destinations,” said Commissioner Al Dyer, liaison to the Department of Public Works. “Also, remember that when you’re traveling through a construction area, please slow down and stay alert for crew members and debris.”
Audubon
Crews will be working on East Atlantic Avenue on Monday, August 10, to Friday, August 14, from 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. There will be a partial eastbound road closure between West Merchant Street in Audubon and Station Avenue in Haddon Heights.
Barrington
Crews will be working on Third Avenue on Monday, August 10, to Friday, August 14, from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. There will be a full road closure between Kingston Avenue in Barrington and West High Street in Haddon Heights.
Camden
· Crews will be working on State Street on Monday, August 10, to Friday, August 14, from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. There will be a full road closure between North 8th Street and North 10th Street.
· PSE&G will be working on Broadway and Collings Avenue on Monday, August 10, to Friday, August 14, from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. There will be a full road closure of Broadway between Atlantic Avenue and Jefferson Street. There will also be a full road closure of Collings Avenue between East Ironside Road and Tennessee Road.
· Crews will be working on Haddon Avenue on Monday, August 10, to Friday, August 14, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. There will be lane closures between Federal Street and Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard.
· Crews will be working on Haddon Avenue on Monday, August 10, to Friday, August 14, from 8:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. There will be a partial road closure northbound between Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and Cooper Plaza.
· Crews will be working on Newton Avenue on Monday, August 10, to Friday, August 14, from 6:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. There be full road closure between Chestnut Street and the Kaighn Avenue/South 4th Street intersection.
· Crews will be working on River Avenue on Monday, August 10, to Friday, August 14, from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. There will be a full road closure between Federal Street and East State Street.
· Crews will be working on Haddon Avenue on Monday, August 10, to Friday, August 14, from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. There will be lane closures between Chestnut Street and Wildwood Avenue.
· New Jersey American Water will be working on 2421 Federal Street on Wednesday, August 12, from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. There will be a shoulder closure between North 24th Street and North 25th Street.
· PSE&G will be working on 3060 Federal Street on Thursday, August 13, from 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. There will be a lane shift between South Dudley Street and South 31st Street.
Cherry Hill
· Verizon will be working on Kresson Road on Monday, August 10, to Friday, August 14, from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. There will be a shoulder closure between Brace Road and Covered Bridge Road.
· Crews will be working on Kresson Road on Monday, August 10, to Thursday, August 13, from 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. There will be a combination of lane shifts, lane closures and alternating traffic with flaggers between Imperial Drive and Marlkress Road.
· Crews will be working on Kresson Road on Monday, August 10, to Friday, August 14, from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. There will be a partial road closure westbound between Cropwell Road and Springdale Road.
· Crews will be working on Kenilworth Avenue on Monday, August 10, to Friday, August 14, from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. There will be a full road closure between Route 38 and Helena Avenue.
Collingswood
Crews will be working on Park Avenue on Monday, August 10, to Friday, August 14, from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. There will be a full road closure and sidewalk closures between Dill Avenue and Ogden Avenue.
Gloucester Township
Crews will be working on Evesham Road on Monday, August 10, to Friday, August 14, from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. There will be a partial eastbound road closure between Schubert Avenue and Black Horse Pike.
Haddon Heights
· Crews will be working on Third Avenue on Monday, August 10, to Friday, August 14, from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. There will be a full road closure between Kingston Avenue in Barrington and West High Street in Haddon Heights.

Crews will be working on East Euclid Avenue and North Haddon Avenue on Monday, August 10, to Friday, August 14, from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. On Monday, there will be a full road closure of North Haddon Avenue between East Redman Avenue to East Euclid Avenue. On Tuesday, there will be a full road closure of East Euclid Avenue between North Haddon Avenue and the dead end at Christ the King Regional School. From Wednesday to Friday, there will be a full road closure of North Haddon Avenue between East Euclid Avenue and Kings Highway East.
Oaklyn
PSE&G will be working on Manor Avenue on Monday, August 10, to Wednesday, August 12, from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. There will be a full road closure between West Oakland Avenue and the VFW Hall (dead end).
Winslow Township
· Crews will be working on Sicklerville Road on Monday, August 10, to Friday, August 14, from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. There will be a 24/7 full road closure between Andrews Road and Erial Road.
· Crews will be working on Mays Landing Road on Monday, August 10, to Friday, August 14, from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. There will be a partial northbound road closure between Old Albertson Road and the Atlantic County Line.
The Camden County Department of Public Works is responsible for maintaining over 1,200 miles of county roadway, over 200 bridges and several dams. They are dedicated to making our area safer for motorists and pedestrians through county highway construction projects and road maintenance, including pothole repairs, street sweeping, grass cutting, and storm drainage upkeep. The Public Works Department is located in Lindenwold where personnel are on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to serve the residents of Camden County.
