Park Smart at Gloucester Township Community Park

Our Gloucester Township Police Park Patrols recently observed vehicles parking on the grass and in other non-designated areas at Gloucester Township Community Park, especially during busy games, practices, and events.

As a reminder, vehicles must be parked in designated and posted parking areas. This requirement applies throughout Gloucester Township parks and recreation areas.

Gloucester Township Ordinance § 65A-10 – Vehicles; Parking: https://ecode360.com/42575373#42575412
requires vehicles within Township parks and recreation areas to be parked only in areas designated and posted for parking.

Please remember:

Keep vehicles off the grass and other non-designated areas

Use designated and posted parking areas

Keep roadways and pedestrian areas clear

Never park where you could interfere with traffic or emergency access

We understand that Community Park can get busy. If the closest parking area is full, please take a few extra minutes to find another designated space rather than parking on the grass. Parking in the proper areas helps protect the park grounds, keeps traffic moving, and makes the park safer and more accessible for everyone.

Keep it off the grass. Find a designated space. Park smart.

Need assistance? As always, if assistance is needed, please contact the Gloucester Township Police Department at 856-228-4500 or speak with an officer at the park. For park-related questions, please contact the Gloucester Township Recreation Department at (856) 435-5734 or recdept@glotwp.com.
