Westville, NJ (CNBNews)–On Wednesday, September 16th, Westville officials attended “30 Mayors & 30 Developers” held at Rowan College of South Jersey. The attendees included Mayor Sims, Council
President Nordaby, Councilmember Lawrence, Administrator Giles, Superintendent Finger of DPW and Planning & Business Development Committee member and resident Renee Gay.
The event was designed for towns to showcase and promote their respective towns wants and needs related to redevelopment and attracting businesses to their downtown business district. The Westville contingent were able to connect and network with many of the approximately 55 redevelopers who signed up to attend this event.
Sims stated, ‘We, along with office staff, prepared an amazing presentation with poster boards showing the areas in need of redevelopment, pocket folders with information about Westville and its history along with other handouts about Westville. Our redevelopment efforts have been ongoing for some time now and we will continue with those efforts to support all of our current businesses and residents. We look forward to continuing to make connections, explore opportunities, and promote Westville as a great place to live, work, visit, and do business!”
