Chevrolet Express 1500 Custom Conversion Van

127,000 Miles | Exceptional Condition | No other like it

This custom conversion van has been my pride and joy for the past six years. I have owned many vans, but this one is my favorite. It has always drawn compliments wherever I traveled. People routinely stop to admire it or give a thumbs-up as they pass. We no longer migrate to the south with the other snowbirds, and that is the main reason I am selling it. The van is in exceptional condition with a beautiful high-gloss finish, custom pinstriping, four captain’s chairs, and a rear bench seat that folds into a bed. Perfect for road trips, camping, day trips, or simply traveling in comfort.

For those who have never driven one, the van provides a higher view over the traffic in front of you and behind you. The ride is smooth. For many years, we drove to Anna Marie Island, on the west coast of Florida. Our two Labradors, Lacey and Erica, had plenty of room to settle down in the back. Those trips to the west coast took 18 hours. One year we decided to try Hilton Head Island, SC. That ride was 10 hours. If you’ve never been to HH, you don’t know what you are missing. Pristine beaches, beautiful flowers, great restaurants, and stunning scenery. We always liked the weather there in March, as it was similar to our fall in South Jersey. We stayed in the Sea Pines area. Daytime temperatures are in the 60s and 70s. January, February, and March, you could rent a home just a block or two from the beach for the same price you paid for a week rental at the shore.

ASKING PRICE $21,900

This van had barn doors on both sides. Most conversions only have one set of passenger doors.

On the passenger side of our van, you can see Sweetie’s head, a yellow lab we rescued from a farm in Pennsylvania.
