PITMAN, NJ — Sara Wiedeman, MaKala Baker, and head coach Scott Leacott and his staff earned marquee awards in representing eight Profs on the 2026 New Jersey Athletic Conference Women’s Soccer All-Conference Teams.

Wiedeman was named the 2026 NJAC Offensive Player of the Year while Baker was touted as the 2026 NJAC Defensive Player of the Year. Leacott and assistant coaches Veronica Rhea, Shelby Money, and Jeff Zoyac were selected the 2026 NJAC Joe Russo Coaching Staff of the Year.

Wiedeman, Baker and Raven Davies earned first-team honors with Bella Moore, Cailey Bozinis, and Hannah Ferris selected to the second team. Riley Fortna and Enya Carthy scored honorable mention honors as well.

This is the third year in a row for Wiedeman and second for Baker in earning all-conference accolades. Leacott picked up the fourth top coaching honor and first since 2015.

Through 14 regular-season games, Wiedeman leads the NJAC in points (39), assists (13), and is tied for the league lead with 13 goals. The senior’s 2.79 points per game has her ranked fourth in all of Division III.

Baker, Davies, Fortna, and Carthy highlight a backline that has yielded just three goals all season. Carthy boasts a 0.23 goals against average (which is ranked third in DIII) with seven overall shutouts and 11 team clean sheets.

Moore is second on the squad with seven goals while Bozinis and Ferris have combined for seven tallies.

#3 Rowan, who secured a perfect regular season for the first time in program history (14-0), will begin postseason play on Wednesday against Stockton in an NJAC Tournament Semifinal. The top-seeded Profs with a win will host the NJAC Championship on Saturday.
