New Jersey Files Lawsuit Against EPA

TRENTON – The Christie Administration today announced the state of New Jersey has filed a lawsuit in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia Circuit challenging the Environmental Protection Agency\’s Clean Power Plan on the basis of its unlawful extension of the federal agency\’s authority, irreparable harm to the state if it can\’t manage its own energy future, and its unequal burden on states, like New Jersey, that have already significantly reduced carbon emissions.
