The Homicide Unit is seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the male depicted in the above photographs in connection with the murder of an off-duty Philadelphia Police Officer.
The male is described as approximately 6 feet tall, with a thin to medium build, dark complexion, and medium to bushy cropped hair. He is believed to be in his mid-to-late 20s and was last seen wearing a black hooded jacket, black pants, a light blue surgical mask, and black sneaker-style boots. He also had a long key chain hanging from the back of his pants and was wearing a large wristwatch.
Prior to the shooting, the male was observed walking to the location of the incident from the area of 73rd Street and Buist Avenue. Following the shooting, he fled the area on foot, traveling southbound on 73rd Street from Buist Avenue.
Anyone with information regarding the identity or whereabouts of this male is urged to contact the Philadelphia Police Department’s Homicide Unit at 215-686-3334 or submit an anonymous tip by calling 215-686-TIPS (8477). A $20,000 reward is being offered for information leading to an arrest and conviction.
