I am happy to announce that the Gloucester City American Legion Post 135 will be taking over the Memory Brick Walk in Proprietor’s Park. As many of you will remember, we lost a very lovely Gloucester City Lady this past June 19th…Mrs. Patti Kropp. Less than a year before she passed, she found she was suffering from Pancreatic Cancer and had a short time to live. Patti asked that people remember her by donating and helping the Gloucester City American Legion Post 135 in their effort to assist and care for homeless veterans. To that end, the legion will take over the brick walk and use all proceeds to honor Patti’s wish and direct the brick profits to assist homeless veterans. At this time, we are putting together a F.B. site for this brick campaign which will be managed by American Legion Member Vince Baehr. When it is completed I will let everyone know and direct them to this site if they wish to support this worthy cause and order a brick.
