The Philadelphia Police Department is now accepting applications from individuals interested in beginning a career in law enforcement and serving the people of Philadelphia with purpose and compassion.
The application period runs through Sunday, October 11, 2026. New recruits are also eligible for a $2,000 signing bonus.
As part of its ongoing recruitment efforts, PPD has produced a series of videos featuring officers who share why they chose careers in law enforcement and what motivates them to serve Philadelphia. The videos offer prospective applicants a look at the people behind the badge, as well as the wide range of career opportunities available within the department.
PPD continues to recruit candidates from diverse backgrounds who are interested in making a meaningful impact in the communities they serve.
