Camden, NJ – Welcome to the team! The Camden County Prosecutor’s Office has hired seven new assistant prosecutors, announced Camden County Prosecutor Grace C. MacAulay.
Assistant Prosecutor Jennifer Bauman, Assistant Prosecutor Savannah Hayes, Assistant Prosecutor Kate Isidro, Assistant Prosecutor Jillian Leoniy, and Assistant Prosecutor Carley Swanson were sworn in on September 7, 2026. These five assistant prosecutors joined the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office after serving as judicial law clerks in Superior Court. Assistant Prosecutors Hayes, Isidro, and Leoniy served their clerkships in Camden County Superior Court. Assistant Prosecutors Bauman and Swanson served their clerkships in Burlington County Superior Court and Atlantic County Superior Court, respectively. All are graduates of Rutgers Law School – Camden.
Assistant Prosecutor Peter Sawan was sworn in on August 31, 2026. He previously worked as an assistant district attorney with the Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office. Assistant Prosecutor Sawan most recently served as an associate attorney for the Law Office of Thomas J. Wagner, LLC. He is a graduate of Widener University – Delaware Law School.
Assistant Prosecutor Jill Cohen was sworn in on August 17, 2026. She is a certified criminal trial attorney with over four decades of legal experience, including more than 14 years between the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office and Philadelphia District Attorney’s Office. Assistant Prosecutor Cohen also previously managed her own practice, the Law Office of Jill R. Cohen, for two decades. She is a graduate of Widener University – Delaware Law School.
All seven assistant prosecutors were sworn in by the Honorable Kathleen Delaney, J.S.C., from Camden County Superior Court.
