We want to recognize and thank Coach Casey Murphy, Gloucester Catholic Class of 1999, as he enters his final season as Head Coach of Gloucester Catholic Football.
Coach Murphy’s commitment to Gloucester Catholic has always been about more than football. His love for this school, his pride in the Rams, and, most importantly, his genuine care for the young men he has coached have been evident every step of the way.
For Coach Murphy, coaching has been an opportunity to teach lessons that extend far beyond the field. It has been about character, accountability, perseverance, teamwork, and what it means to be part of something bigger than yourself. He has invested countless hours and tremendous energy in his players, challenging them to grow while supporting them as they navigated both football and life.
This season is especially meaningful for Coach Murphy as his son, Frankie, begins his senior season as a Ram. What a special way to experience one final season on the sidelines, not only as a coach, but as a proud dad watching his son take the field in the maroon and gold.
The impact a coach has is measured not only by what happens on game day, but by the relationships built, the lessons shared, and the young men who carry those lessons with them long after their playing days are over.
We are grateful for Coach Murphy’s dedication to Gloucester Catholic, his players, and the football program. As we celebrate his final season, we hope the entire Ram Family will come out and support Coach Murphy and the Rams!
