Westville Welcomes New Restaurant; See Important Dates

WESTVILLE, NJ (October 1, 2026)(CNBNews)-Mayor Fritz Sims along with Councilman Lawrence recently welcomed owner Osiris Portorreal and his staff of the Dominican Cafe & Restaurant to the community. The Domican Cafe and Restaurant is located at 183 Broadway. 

Sims thanked the owner for establishing his business in the community of Westville. Osiris received a borough welcoming packet from the mayor on behalf of the community. 

Third Legislative District representatiives and Gloucester County Commissioners attended the event.  The mayor encouraged all residents to visit the Domican Cafe and he asked the public to SHOP LOCAL!

 A special Council Meeting will be held on October 6, 2026, at 5 pm in the Council Chambers.

Water bills are due by October 13, 2026. To avoid being charged a late fee your must pay the bill on time. If you havent received your bill call 856-456-0030 Ext. 114.

18th CENTURY FIELD DAY

Let’s continue celebrating America’s 250th birthday at the 18th Century Field Day on October 18, 2026, from 10am-4pm. The event will take place at the Red Bank Battlefield Park and will include battle reenactments, colonial craft demonstrations, hearth cooking, house and battlefield tours, magic show, games, crafts and more!!
