The NJDEP Division of Fish and Wildlife is reminding hunters that permits for fall turkey season and all permit deer seasons go on sale Tuesday, September 8 at 10 a.m. The fall turkey permit lottery has been discontinued; permits for all seasons will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis as long as permits remain available and the season(s) remain open.

 PHILADELPHIA PA–BOY SCOUTS & BASEBALL: All members of Boy Scout Troop 1719, who meet at United Methodist Church, 6001 Germantown Ave., Philadelphia, received free passes to the professional baseball, minor league team, Camden Riversharks recently. The passes were given by this regions longest-established advertising and publicity firm, American Advertising Services, 29 Bala Ave., Bala Cynwyd (484-562-0060) as part of its continuing community services. According to the police investigation, Weldon Battle, of Sicklerville was riding his motorcycle southbound on Sicklerville Road when he collided with Charles Jones, age 55, at the intersection.
