Kennedy Health’s Cancer Center Named a ‘Screening Center of Excellence’

Children under age 2 AND weighing less than 30 pounds must be secured in a rear-
facing child safety seat that is equipped with a five-point harness.

Children between ages 2 – 4 and weighing up to 40 pounds must be secured in a child
safety seat equipped with a five-point harness,
either rear-facing (up to the height and weight limits of the seat) or forward-facing.

COAST GUARD RESPONDING TO SHIP AGROUND ON DELAWARE RIVER

PHILADELPHIA — The Coast Guard is overseeing salvage efforts Tuesday for a motor vessel aground on the Delaware River.

The 328-foot Netherlands-flagged motor vessel, Bermuda Islander, lost power and propulsion Monday at approximately 9 p.m. before running aground near Salem, New Jersey.

No injuries or pollution have been reported. There were 12 people aboard the ship when it ran aground.

GLOUCESTER CITY NJ--Gloucester City Police are investigating an alleged counterfeit incident that occurred today, August 25, 2015, at the Dunkin Donuts, 455 South Broadway.

The male and female shown in the surveillance photos entered the Dunkin Donuts on S. Broadway together on August 13th and the male paid for items using a counterfeit $100 bill. If anyone can identify the male or female in the photos or has any information concerning this incident, please contact Det. Cpl. Mike Barney at (856) 456-7797 or [email protected]

NEW INTERACTIVE FLOOD WARNING MAPS FOR PASSAIC RIVER BASIN

MAP DETAILS SIX-MILE STRETCH OF RIVER RUNNING THROUGH WALDWICK, HO-HO-KUS AND RIDGEWOOD IN BERGEN COUNTY

(15/P70) TRENTON – The fourth in a series of online, interactive flood-preparation maps designed to aid emergency management personnel and to inform residents in the Passaic River Basin about flooding events in real time has been launched, Department of Environmental Protection Commissioner Bob Martin announced today.

The Ho-Ho-Kus Brook Flood Inundation Map, covering a 6-mile span of the river in Bergen County\’s Waldwick Borough, Ho-Ho-Kus Borough and Ridgewood, is the fourth map designated for the Passaic River Basin in response to recommendations made by Governor Christie\’s Passaic River Basin Advisory Commission.
