Surveys show 9.5 percent of Americans use marijuana; 30 percent of users meet criteria for a disorder

(October 21, 2015)CNBNEWSNET–The percentage of Americans who reported using marijuana in the past year more than doubled between 2001-2002 and 2012-2013, and the increase in marijuana use disorder during that time was nearly as large. Past year marijuana use rose from 4.1 percent to 9.5 percent of the U.S. adult population, while the prevalence of marijuana use disorder rose from 1.5 percent to 2.9 percent, according to national surveys conducted by the National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism (NIAAA), part of the National Institutes of Health.

There will be a visitation from 11am to 12pm Saturday morning at GARDNER FUNERAL HOME, RUNNEMEDE.

Funeral service 12pm at the funeral home.

Entombment private at the request of the family.

The Camden County Prosecutor’s Office and Haddon Township Police Department are continuing to conduct a thorough investigation into the death of 3-year-old Brendan Creato.

Detectives have found no indicia of forced entry at the child’s residence. Additionally, there is no indication the boy was sexually assaulted.

Bill Donohue comments on the bigotry that marks the effort to legalize abortion in Ireland:

 On the front page of Amnesty International\’s website it says, \”We campaign for a world where human rights are enjoyed by all.\” It is a lie: Human beings not yet born, it argues, have no human rights.

 When the organization was founded in 1961, it took no position on abortion. That changed in 2007. Citing issues such as rape, it endorsed decriminalization. Predictably, that didn\’t last:

Officer Reader past experience includes serving a year with the Wildwood Police Department. Officer Reader comes from a family of law enforcement as his grandfather, John \”Jack\” Reader retired from the Brooklawn Police Department as Chief of Police. His father, John Reader also recently retired from the New Jersey State Police as a Sergeant.
