(Voorhees Township, NJ) – The Camden County Library System is proud to announce a new reciprocal borrowing agreement with Atlantic, Burlington, and Gloucester County Library Systems starting in January 2026. This new agreement invites Camden County Library cardholders, in good standing, to sign up for a library card in neighboring counties at no cost. The reciprocal borrowing agreement offers cardholders a wider selection of materials and increased convenience while promoting the collective value of library systems across the state.

Vehicle burglaries and stolen vehicles are on the rise again! This week, the Brooklawn Police Department investigated multiple vehicle burglaries. All the vehicles were left unlocked.

AS A REMINDER:
Criminals look for easy targets. You can make it more difficult for them by following the 9PM routine of locking all vehicles! Many vehicle burglaries occur as a result of vehicles being left unlocked.

(Mount Holly, NJ, January 1, 2026) … The First Baby of 2026 to be born in Burlington County, NJ, has arrived at Virtua Mount Holly Hospital. Beautiful Enola Isabel Hale was born at 12:18 pm on January 1, weighing 7 pounds, 3 ounces. Her family resides in Burlington County.

Every year, Virtua’s maternity teams celebrate the First Baby milestone. The health system delivers approximately 9,000 babies annually across its three hospitals offering maternity services and its Midwifery Birth & Wellness Center.

The Atlantic City Expressway All Electronic Tolling To Begin On January 4, 2026

The South Jersey Transportation Authority has announced that cashless tolls will begin on January 4th on the Atlantic City Expressway. There are two ways drivers will be billed for their tolls: E-ZPass, which will remain the same, and Toll-By-Plate, in which a bill will be mailed to the address on the vehicle’s registration but possibly at a higher rate.
