PLACE: Jefferson Health Cherry Hill Hospital 3rd Floor, Area B: 2201 Chapel Ave West, Cherry Hill, NJ 08002
BACKGROUND:
On Tuesday, April 21, from noon to 1:00 pm, Jefferson Health Cherry Hill Hospital will host art students and teachers from Cherry Hill High School West for an unveiling & luncheon to celebrate the completion of the students’ multi-medium waiting room mural which the students began in September 2025.
The mural, which wraps around three walls of a 3rd floor waiting room on Jefferson’s campus, measures 50 feet x 8 feet, and uses mediums such as acrylic paint, glass mosaics, ceramic tile and photo paper to depict seasonal scenes representative of the New Jersey and Philadelphia region.
The idea for Jefferson’s collaboration with the Cherry Hill High West art students came from Rory Levinson, a nurse manager. As the waiting room doesn’t have windows, Levinson wanted to create a more engaging, comfortable room for patients and visitors to relax in by “bringing the outside in.”
This is our 11th year bringing you the best musicians in our area, and it’s free! A beautiful relaxing evening of music along the Delaware River in Gloucester City.
The fight against food insecurity remains a priority in the Assembly under the leadership of Speaker Craig J. Coughlin, and Assembly Democrats continued to make good on that promise by passing bill A3882 in the most recent voting session. Sponsored by Speaker Coughlin, Assemblywoman Annette Quijano, and Assemblyman Dan Hutchison, the legislation would make it easier for families to access school meal assistance programs.

In addition, two playgrounds were renovated within the park over the last two years.
The statement below is by Commissioner Director Louis Cappelli Jr. regarding ICE operations in Camden County.
“For months we have seen the devastation wrought by the Immigration Customs Enforcement (ICE) across the country, and right here in Camden County. This federal agency has wandered far from its mission to promote homeland security and public safety. Their agents lack training, leadership, and accountability, and instead of taking dangerous, non-citizens with criminal convictions into custody, they are often employing oppressive tactics reminiscent of the Gestapo. At least two American citizens have lost their lives at the hands of ICE agents, and thousands more have been separated from their families, with their lives upended.
