PBR Pendleton Whisky Velocity Tour Returns to Reading, Pa March 6-7

Two Day Event Slated for This Weekend

READING, Penn. – Professional Bull Riders (PBR) is bringing the Pendleton Whisky Velocity Tour back to Pennsylvania with PBR Reading, the fourth time America’s original extreme sport will storm into Reading at Santander Arena, March 6-7, 2026.

Over the course of the two-day event in March, 35 top riders will appear in two full round taking on some of the sport’s toughest bulls. After two rounds, the top 10 riders with the highest aggregate scores take on one final bull for a chance at the event title.

The riders will battle for crucial points toward the Velocity Global Standings, which determine qualification for the season-ending Pendleton Whisky Velocity Tour Finals in Corpus Christi, Texas, on May 1–2. At the Velocity Tour Finals, one rider will be crowned the Pendleton Whisky Velocity Tour Champion, and five riders not already qualified will earn coveted spots to compete at the PBR World Finals, beginning May 7 at Cowtown Coliseum in Fort Worth, Texas.

Premiere of the Latest NJVVMM Storytelling Initiative!

The Camden County Board of Commissioners recently visited the New Jersey Vietnam Veterans’ Memorial and Museum and hosted a special showing of A Place of Honor at the Scottish Rite Auditorium in Collingswood, a documentary highlighting the stories of the museum’s docents. Continuing an amazing storytelling initiative, the NJVVMM presents a Red Carpet Premiere of The Last Patrol! A short film, documentary that tells the story of small group of Vietnam veterans who began the movement of putting a Vietnam Memorial in the State of New Jersey. Do you think you have what it takes to catch a clever leprechaun and claim his pot of gold? Gather the family and join us for a magical, hands-on class where creativity meets a bit of Irish folklore! During this fun and interactive workshop at the Camden County Office of Sustainability, 508 Lakeland Road, on Saturday, March14th, from 10 AM to 12 PM, participants will learn all about the mischievous legends of leprechauns and the tiny green plants they love to hide beneath. Then, each family will create their very own leprechaun trap! A charming terrarium jar filled with moss, clover, and a special trinket designed to tempt even the sneakiest visitor.

NASCAR All-Star Race Format at Dover Motor Speedway Announced

DOVER, Del. (Feb. 25, 2026) — The full format for the 2026 NASCAR All-Star Race at Dover Motor Speedwayhas been set, featuring a three-segment, 350-lap event that places every driver on track while rewarding race winners, past champions, and performance across the first two segments. The NASCAR All-Star Race will air live on FS1, MRN Radio and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio, with coverage beginning at 1:00 p.m. ET on Sunday, May 17.

Philly Icon and Nationally Recognized HIV Activist to Retire After 30 Years with GayBINGO!

Philadelphia, PA – Action Wellness today announced the retirement of a Philadelphia and national icon after three decades of extraordinary service to people living with HIV. Following the conclusion of GayBINGO!’s 30th anniversary season, longtime host Michael Byrne will officially retire his legendary drag alter ego, Carlota Ttendant, bringing to a close his role in one of the most successful and beloved fundraisers in the region and nation. Through the larger-than-life presence of Carlota Ttendant, Byrne helped transform GayBINGO! into a cultural phenomenon featured on television, in print, and across national media, raising millions of dollars in support of HIV services while blending sharp wit, camp and community-driven activism. What began as a local fundraiser grew into a nationally recognized event, widely celebrated for its impact, inclusivity, and unmistakable Philly spirit. Byrne will count down to Carlota’s retirement by hosting four of the final five GayBINGO! events of the season on  March 14, April 11 and May 9, and culminating in a giant farewell celebration at Rainbow Bombshell GayBINGO! on June 13, 2026. GayBINGO! will continue into the 2026–2027 season, with future plans and information about the next host to be announced later this year.
