Who’s watching me? A Watchdog reporter’s run-in with the police

$\"\"$

\”Police took photos of my license plate\”

Last spring, Kathryn Watson, an investigative reporter in Watchdog’s Virginia bureau, dug up an alarming tale – local police departments were randomly scanning license plates, tagging those images with dates, times, and locations, and then storing that data for years. She filed a request for her own record, and what she found stunned her.

THIS WILL MAKE YOUR BLOOD BOIL! Navy officer from the Chattanooga Shooting will be Charged

Lt Commander Timothy White and Islamist killer Muhammad Abdulazeez

As reported ten days ago by Western Journalism, \”A Navy officer and Marine reportedly returned fire at the shooter who killed five service members in Chattanooga, Tenn., even though current policy does not permit military members to carry firearms on facilities such as those where the attack occurred.

The cold-blooded assault killed four Marines and one active-duty Navy reservist. The center’s commanding officer, Lt. Cmdr. Timothy White, used his personal firearm to engage the shooter during the attack, according to sources quoted in the Navy Times. A report from The Washington Post said that one of the Marines killed in the shooting might have been carrying a 9 mm Glock and possibly returned fire on the shooter.

At the time, Western Journalism wrote, Lt. Cmdr. White could face disciplinary action for violating policy about possessing a weapon on the facility that was supposedly a gun-free zone. The investigation into the attack is ongoing, and authorities will not know if White or the Marine hit the shooter until an autopsy and a ballistics report have been completed.

Ladies and gents, resulting from the text message I received yesterday, I can confirm that the United States Navy is bringing charges against Lt. Cmdr Timothy White for illegally discharging a firearm on federal property.

Sweeney’s pension scheme is great ’cause then he doesn’t need to actually do anything

By Matt Rooney | The Save Jersey Blog

This one shouldn’t require much explanation, Save Jerseyans.

Not content to rule only New Jersey’s future, gubernatorial aspirant and incumbent Senate President Steve Sweeney is in the news today after floating a \”plan\” for a trillion dollar, multi-state bailout of our country’s many under-capitalized state-based public pension systems. \”We are glad that Senate President Sweeney continues to explore every possible option for helping New Jersey responsibly meet its pension obligations,\” chimed in NJEA President Wendell Steinhauer.

$\"sweeney\"$ Every \”option\” except for those that would fix the root problems, of course.

Which is convenient for Trenton’s elites. Sweeney’s plan doesn’t require them to do a damn thing other than what they already do best… shift blame and put their hands out!

No hard choices need to be made. No adult discussions or real reform.

Until the next crisis?

Keep in mind that this crisis is one of their own making. We’ve already tried paying debt with MORE debt and it doesn’t work. No one ever pays! And the liabilities pile up. \”In 2001, government employees and teachers benefits were …

The comment period spans the two highest vacation months of the year, July and August and ends on September 4, just before labor day weekend.

George Carlin\’s Views on Aging

Do you realize that the only time in our lives when we like to get old is when we\’re kids? If you\’re less than 10 years old, you\’re so excited about aging that you think in fractions. \’How old are you?\’ \’I\’m four and a half!\’ You\’re never thirty-six and a half. You\’re four and a half, going on five! That\’s the key.
You get into your teens, now they can\’t hold you back. You jump to the next number, or even a few ahead.

\’How old are you?\’ \’I\’m gonna be 16!\’ You could be 13, but hey, you\’re gonna be 16! And then the greatest day of your life! You become 21. Even the words sound like a ceremony. YOU BECOME 21. YESSSS!!!

But then you turn 30. Oooohh, what happened there? Makes you sound like bad milk! He TURNED; we had to throw him out. There\’s no fun now, you\’re Just a sour-dumpling. What\’s wrong? What\’s changed?
