Today at 1 p.m., the ships will gather under the Walt Whitman bridge, then make their way up the river to the Camden waterfront area where they will dock and be available to tour, photograph, or just admire.

The World’s Largest Rubber Duck didn’t exactly fly south for the winter, but after a much needed off-season rest the cuddly floating fowl will abandon its nest and turn the Delaware River into the world’s largest bathtub during the much anticipated Tall Ships Philadelphia Camden 2015.
The largest Tall Ships event of year countrywide that combines a dozen awe-inspiring Tall Ships with an abundance of festival attractions already has locals and future visitors alike clamoring for the opening date of June 25. The addition of the super-sized bath toy adds to that anticipation.

BURGLARY SUSPECT MICHAEL J. CANNING
GLOUCESTER CITY NJ — June 22, 2015 at 5:42 am officers responded to a vacant residence in the unit block of S. Burlington Street for a report of a burglary in progress. Officers searched the residence and located a suspect hiding in a second floor bedroom. Michael J. Canning (27), a resident of the 100 block of S. Burlington Street, was arrested without incident.
He was additionally found to be a wanted person out of Camden County. Canning was sentenced to five years in prison for burglary in September, 2014 but was released in January 2015 into the Intensive Supervision Program.
Canning was charged with burglary, theft, possession of burglar tools and remanded to Camden County Jail without bail.
ALLEGED DRUG PUSHER ROBERT R. RAND
On June 18, 2015 at approximately 6:10 pm City Detectives and the Patrol Division executed a search warrant on a vehicle on N. Broadway at King Street Street culminating an investigation into the distribution of CDS from the vehicle in various areas of Gloucester City. As a result, a quantity of heroin, cash and a vehicle were seized. The target of the investigation, Robert R. Rand (35), a resident of Bellmawr, was arrested at the scene and charged with possession of CDS and possession with intent to distribute. He was later remanded to Camden County Jail after failing to post bail.
THOSE CHARGED ARE PRESUMED INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN OTHERWISE.

Rider Baseball Players in Summer Leagues
The 2015 Rider University baseball team won the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference regular season title with a veteran club.
The 2016 Broncs will be a young squad, with many of the key returnees being underclassmen.
The summer of 2015 is a key one for the development of the 2016 roster, and many Broncs are playing against the toughest competition they can find.
Three Broncs; Nick Margevicius (North Royalton, Ohio/St. Ignatius), Josh Sharik (Ewing, NJ/Plumstead Christian) and Lee Lipinski (Glen Arm, MD/Calvert) are playing in Virginia’s Shenandoah Valley in the Valley League, known as the \”Gateway to the Majors.\”

It’s a decision that more than anything delivers peace of mind to the millions of hard working American’s who have turned to the ACA for affordable coverage. The Supreme Court rightfully decided that no American – regardless of where he or she resides in our great country – should be denied access to the tax credits that were intended under this law to make quality coverage within reach for middle class families.
