A dapper gentleman with an unmatched wit and memorable one-liners, Tom lived in Pennsauken for over 50 years, but his heart remained in the City of Brotherly Love, his birthplace. On April 22, 2015, at age 89. Tom passed away peacefully in Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Camden.

WOODBURY NJ May 1, 2015 (CNBNews.net)–Devin E. Cooper (DOB 8/13/88), of Lakehurst NJ, was charged Thursday by the Gloucester County Prosecutor’s Office with setting fire to his vehicle on Caulfield Ave. in Deptford Township NJ on 4/17/15.

Cooper, a New Jersey corrections officer, turned himself in at the Deptford Township Police Department, accompanied by his lawyer. He is charged with second-degree aggravated arson and third-degree arson. Cooper was released after posting $25,000 bail.

Chief Thomson congratulates Lieutenant Joseph Hoffman, who retired this week from the Camden County Police Department after 25 years serving Camden with the former city police department and the CCPD. Hoffman spent much of his career as a detective investigating arson cases and then coordinating training before moving to Internal Affairs in 2009.

We thank Lt. Hoffman for his 25 years of hard work and dedication to the cause of public safety in Camden!

The Franklin (Tennessee) Police Department and the FBI are, once again, asking for the public’s help in solving the 1991 murder of a 49-year-old mother who was shot and killed by an unknown assailant or assailants while on the job at a Franklin restaurant. The Bureau just increased its reward in the case to $15,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the individual(s) responsible for the murder.

Loving grandmother of Michele, Mark, Alessandro, Scott, Athena, Lorraine, Katelyn, and Gabrielle. Great grandmother of William, ChaeLee, and Eyris. There will be a visitation from 7 to 9pm Wednesday evening and 8:15 to 9:15am Thursday morning at GARDNER FUNERAL HOME, RUNNEMEDE. Funeral service 10am Thursday at St. Theresa’s Church, Holy Child Parish. Interment New St. Mary’s Cemetery.
