Inglis, which has supported people with disabilities in living full, independent lives since 1877, has partnered with Jefferson Moss-Magee for decades—working together on care transitions, and access to accessible housing, assistive technology and community-based supports.

Wanted: Suspect for Assault in the 18th District

The Philadelphia Police Department needs your help:

The police are investigating an assault that occurred on April 22nd, 2026 in University City. Around 11:00 PM, a female was confronted by a male inside a store along the 4000 block of Market Street. The argument escalates and the male spits on the woman and begins punching her in the face before leaving the scene in an unknown direction. The female victim suffered several injuries.

Carter Bill Would Increase Transparency of Post-Graduation Employment Outcome Data

With graduations quickly approaching for the Class of 2026, the Assembly Higher Education Committee today advanced Bill A2135. Sponsored by Assemblywomen Linda S. Carter and Verlina Reynolds-Jackson, the legislation would amend the “New Jersey College Student and Parent Consumer Information Act” to ensure all four-year institutions of higher education collect and report employment for certain graduates.

Marie L. Hilling, 79, of Fairview

On May 4, 2026, at the age of 79. Of the Fairview section of Camden. Beloved daughter of the late Frederick and Rose Hilling. Loving mother of Leslie Hilling (son-in-law, James Rodriguez). Cherished grandmother of Amanda Kee and Tyler Marcheski and great-grandmother of Julian Rivera. Dear sister of Catherine Hilling Gery. Beloved aunt of Dale Dawson and Nicole Dawson Fritz.

Marie was a graduate of Camden High School. She worked many years as a bank teller in Gloucester City and an aide for Senior Care in Voorhees. Marie was a fan of the Dallas Cowboys and loved trips to the casinos.

Relatives and friends are invited to Marie’s Memorial Service on Sunday, May 17, 2026 at 12:30 PM at the West Collingswood Station, 3010 Lynne Avenue, Oaklyn, NJ 08107.

Yasmin Harris of Rowan women’s lacrosse team has been named to the 2025-26 Allstate NACDA (National Association of Collegiate Directors of Athletics) Good Works Team (Spring), as part of a group of 20 student-athletes who lead in their sport, academics and in communities across the country.

The Allstate NACDA Good Works Team was created to spotlight student-athletes for their meaningful community service. Honorees include men and women from NCAA Divisions I, II and III, NAIA and junior/community colleges, with student-athletes recognized each season across spring, fall and winter sports.

Schaer Introduces Bill to Establish Statewide Holistic Defense Model

(TRENTON) — Seeking to improve efficiency across New Jersey’s justice system, Assemblyman Gary Schaer is advancing legislation to establish a statewide model of the holistic defense initiative, a proposal designed to deliver better outcomes for individuals and communities.

The I-295 southbound ramp to Route 42 southbound and I-295 southbound, also known as Al-Jo’s Curve, is scheduled to be closed and detoured tonight as the Direct Connection project advances in Bellmawr, Camden County. In addition, the I-76 eastbound Exit 1A to I-295 southbound is scheduled to be closed and detoured Friday night.
