Investigation into Shooting of Police Officer and Suspect in Camden

Camden, NJ – A police officer and a suspect were injured during a shooting incident in Camden last night, reported Camden County Prosecutor Grace C. MacAulay and Camden County Police Chief Gabriel Rodriguez.

On November 4th, 2025, at approximately 10:50 p.m., officers from the Camden County Police Department were attempting to conduct a pedestrian stop with an adult male – later identified as 25-year-old Marques Jones of Camden – near Chesapeake Road and Congress Road.  During that time, Jones pointed a handgun in the direction of an officer and fired multiple gunshots. The officer was struck once by gunfire in his left arm.

Bucks250PA Revolutionary War Trail

Bucks250PA was awarded a $5,000 grant from America250PA’s second Semiquincentennial Grant Round for their project, the Revolutionary War Trail.

The Revolutionary War Trail is an exciting, developing project set to bring Bucks County’s pivotal role in the American Revolution to life.

It will feature both digital and printed maps to guide visitors to significant historic sites. Visitors will be able to easily navigate to must-see sites, but the trail isn’t just about battles— it’s dedicated to telling a fuller story of the era, including the experiences of Indigenous Nations and Black Americans.

Wanted: Suspect for Aggravated Assault in the 9th District [VIDEO]

Central Detective Division is seeking the public’s help identifying the individual seen in the following video and photos.

On November 1, 2025, at 1:20 am, the victim, a 22 year-old-male, was assaulted by the suspect in the area of 600 Chestnut St striking the victim in the face/head area.

Wanted: Suspect Alfredo Marrero for Shooting Incident in the 25th District

The Philadelphia Police Department is urging anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Alfredo Marrero to contact the Shooting Investigation Group at 215-686-8270. Tips can be submitted anonymously by calling or texting our PPD’s tip line at 215-686-TIPS (8477).

**Shooting Incident Report**
On Tuesday, October 28, 2025, at 7:13 p.m., police officers from the Philadelphia Police Department’s 25th District responded to Temple University Hospital for a shooting victim that arrived by private vehicle. The incident occurred on the 3000 block of North Marshall Street.

The 7-year-old female child was traveling with her mother in the vehicle when the vehicle was struck with gunfire, which resulted in child being shot in the left arm. The child was placed in stable condition. The child was then transported by ambulance to St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children. There were six 9mm spent casings recovered from the scene. The suspect Alfredo Marrero 30-year-old has an active arrest warrant for this incident. The investigation is being led by the Shooting Investigation Group.

Wanted: Suspect for Commercial Robbery in the 2nd District [VIDEO]

The Philadelphia Police Department is seeking the public’s help in identifying this male in this video:

On November 1, 2025 at Approximately 11:45 am the unknown suspected entered the Dunkin Donuts, 6391 Oxford Ave, walked up to the cashier and demanded money. The cashier opened the register and handed over undisclosed amount money and fled west on Oxford Ave.

Philadelphia, PA – Get ready for a fun and fright-filled weekend as Circus Campus in West Mt. Airy transforms the historic 100-year old venue into one of the spookiest places in Philly. Philadelphia School of Circus Arts presents Haunted Circus Weekend: Scary Movie Edition on Saturday, November 1, 2025 with two shows – all ages/ families and adults only. Circus students and faculty will present a circus-style homage to horror classics inside the 26,000 sq/ft historic former church turned into a haunted haven for Halloween lovers of all ages. This year’s fright-tastic new theme Scary Movies will celebrate spine-tingling classics to cult horror favorites.
