PHILADELPHIA PA–On Thursday, October 22, 2015, at approximately 9:57 AM, while on patrol in the area of Wister and Anderson Streets, bike officers heard two gunshots. The officers proceeded to the area of the gunshots and observed a gray vehicle make a u-turn and continue east on Medary Street. The officers were then flagged down by pedestrians in reference to a shooting victim. One of the bike officers located the complainant; a 33 year old male suffering from a gunshot wound to the left side of his chest, while his partner followed the vehicle and provided flash information to police radio. The officer followed the vehicle eastbound on Medary Street to 21st Street, then proceeded north on 21st Street, where the officer lost sight of the vehicle.
