The Board of Commissioners will continue its Summer Concert Series with two performances this week. Admission to all shows is free and all are welcome to attend.
Tonight Pieces of a Dream will be performing the Sunset Jazz Series at Wiggins Park (2 Riverside Drive, Camden), beginning at 8:00 p.m. On Saturday, July 4, The Commodores will be performing the 2026 Freedom Festival at Wiggins Park, at 8 p.m.
- Philadelphia’s own, Pieces of a Dream, were a defining force in the contemporary jazz and R&B scene in the early 70s with their high-energy, smooth melodies with funk influences – seen in hits like ‘Mt. Airy Groove’.
- The Commodores will bring their signature blend of funk, soul, and R&B to the waterfront.
“The summer concert series is loved by Camden County residents of all ages, and we are thrilled to welcome these amazing artists to our community,” said Commissioner Deputy Director Ed McDonnell, liaison to the Department of Events and Community Outreach. “These shows provide our residents with quality entertainment, right in their local parks. We encourage everyone to join us this week and every week for these amazing performances.”
