Northern Liberties Spring Fest Debuts with Music, Family Fun, Hot Dog Contest

Philadelphia, PA – Northern Liberties Business Improvement District presents the inaugural Northern Liberties Spring Festival presented by Sprouts Farmers Market. The all-ages, all-day celebration will take place on Saturday, May 9, 2026, from 11:00am to 5:00pm, at 3rd and Poplar, as well as inside and around Liberty Lands. Camden Police Department Members to be Given Four Tickets to Phillies Game

Camden Police Department members and their families will get to watch the Philadelphia Phillies play this summer thanks to a generous donation of the Norcross Foundation and The Cooper Foundation. Members of the Camden Police Department will be given four (4) tickets to one of four (4) Phillies home games at Citizens Bank Park. The tickets will be distributed on a first come basis. The Norcross and Cooper Foundations are donating $90,000 to the Camden County Police Foundation for the purchase of the tickets.

Parks Department to Offer Kayaking 101 Class For Residents

 This summer, as part as a multistate effort to provide safe, affordable kayak instruction, the Camden County Parks Department will host a Kayaking 101 class at Newton Lake Park on Saturday, May 16, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., kicking off National Safe Boating Week.

This national, volunteer-led initiative offers low-cost kayaking instruction at more than 40 locations across eight states, with Camden County serving as the only site in New Jersey. The program is designed to introduce beginners to paddling in a safe and accessible environment.

New Hope Celebrates May the 4th

New Hope, PA – The Greater New Hope Chamber of Commerce is back with one of the most anticipated events in Bucks County of the year. New Hope will look like a scene from a galaxy far, far away during the return of its annual May the 4th Star Wars-inspired event.
