Indiana Man Says IRS Fined Him $2,344 for Violating Obamacare’s Individual Mandate

An Indiana man’s IRS bill went viral after he posted a photograph to his Facebook page of a $2,344 fine he claimed was from the federal government for not purchasing health insurance under the Affordable Care Act.

Benjamin Miller said his insurance skyrocketed after President Barack Obama’s health care law took effect so he decided to forgo enrollment, provoking the claimed hefty fine from the IRS for violating the law’s individual mandate.

Ford Driving Skills for Life Program Coming to Overbook High School

On Tuesday, October 20, 2015 teen drivers from Overbrook High School will be participating in the Ford Driving Skills for Life Program. This is a partnership with the Pine Hill School District, Pine Hill Police Department and Ford Driving Skills For Life Program to offer students hands on driver training sessions. Students will complete real life behind-the-wheel training in three specific arenas; distracted driving, simulated impaired driving, and vehicle handling.

Assistance that flows relatively easily and doesn’t incentivize planning ahead for disasters. Too much costly response and too little relatively cheaper mitigation. A flood insurance system that fails to serve most Americans. And disaster aid that fails to \”pre-spond\” to the inevitable future disasters by rebuilding smarter and more resilient.

Division of Fish & Wildlife announces butcher shops processing Sportsmen Against Hunger venison donations

 for 2015/16 season

 

DOVER DELAWARE(Oct. 16, 2015) – DNREC’s Division of Fish & Wildlife today announced the list of private butcher shops accepting donated deer for the state’s Sportsmen Against Hunger Program during the 2015/16 Delaware deer hunting season. All donated venison will be distributed to charitable groups participating in the program.

South Jersey Man Sentenced To 20 Years In Prison For Distributing Images Of Child Sexual Abuse

CAMDEN, N.J. – A Gloucester County, New Jersey, man was sentenced today to 240 months in prison for distributing images of child sexual abuse over the Internet, U.S. Attorney Paul J. Fishman announced.

Gerrett Conover, 50, of Woolwich Township, New Jersey, previously pleaded guilty before U.S. District Judge Noel L. Hillman to Count Three of the indictment against him, distribution of child pornography. Judge Hillman imposed the sentence today in Camden federal court. Conover has been in custody since his arrest.
