Over 1,432 collegiate and high school volleyball teams earned a spot on the list from the American Volleyball Coaches Association in maintaining a year-long grade-point average of at least 3.3 on a 4.0 scale.
The Profs boasted a 3.35 team GPA during the 2025-26 academic year.
“It comes as no surprise to see our sport have more than 1,400 teams earn the AVCA Team Academic Award again this season,” said AVCA CEO Jaime Gordon. “We are grateful for the dedication of the coaches and players who make both classroom and on-court success the lifeblood of their programs.”

Commissioner Jeffrey Nash will join local elected officials to break ground on the next section of the Camden County LINK Trial, a 0.4-mile segment from Somerdale Road to Wakonda Road that will stretch from Somerdale to Hi-Nella.
This is the second LINK Trail section to enter construction in 2026, following the ongoing development of a 1.1-mile segment between Merchant Street in Audubon and Station Avenue in Haddon Heights. The project is being funded in part through a $525,000 Bikeways Grant from the New Jersey Department of Transportation. Construction is expected to begin on August 3 and will be completed in 180 days.
Congressman Van Drew issued the following statement after Governor Mikie Sherrill announced that approximately 6,600 non-citizens were identified on New Jersey’s voter rolls, with nearly 400 having cast ballots.
“This is exactly why so many New Jerseyans have lost confidence in our election system,” said Congressman Van Drew. “For years, we have warned that our voter rolls needed to be cleaned up, only to be dismissed and called conspiracy theorists. Now, the state’s own findings confirm that thousands of non-citizens were registered to vote and hundreds cast ballots.
On the morning of July 20, 2026, at approximately 8:37 a.m., Gloucester Township Police responded to a report of a suspicious person checking vehicle door handles in a residential neighborhood. Thanks to the vigilance of a resident who recognized the suspicious behavior and immediately contacted police, officers arrived within minutes and located the suspect as she exited an unlocked vehicle. The suspect was taken into custody, and property stolen from the vehicle was recovered and returned to its rightful owner.
