We’re well into winter’s home stretch, and if you’re anything like us, you’ve found yourself daydreaming about block parties and barbecues more than you want to admit. The wait is over for Fairmount Park’s Please Touch Museum.

The uber-interactive kids-centric museum brings all the fun of a backyard bash — lawn games, bounce houses and more — indoors for a smashingly good time. Grab the littles for a day full of creative crafts, performances, storytimes, games and other interactive activities inspired by warm-weather activities.

Mass will be celebrated by Archbishop Nelson Perez and Chaplain Father Kevin Gallagher. The procession is led by the Philadelphia Emerald Society Pipe Band. Music provided by Bishop Shanahan High School Choir,

at 16th & JFK and ends between 6th & 5th on Market St.

Women Owned Businesses to Hold Wingwomen Collection Drive

* Drop off essential menstrual and postpatrum donations for Grab-N-Flow through the end of March in this celebrated program that is back for the fifth year in a row  *

Philadelphia, PA – In honor of Women’s History Month, twenty-eight female-owned and led businesses in Manayunk have teamed up to help support women in the community. The 5th Annual Manayunk Wingwomen Program invites neighbors, visitors, friends, customers and clients to donate essential items for prenatal and postnatal parents and menstrual health and wellness. Items can be brought to participating business locations on Main Street through March 31, 2026.

The Homicide Unit is attempting to identify and locate the suspect depicted in the following video compilation as part of an ongoing investigation into the shooting death of a 40-year-old Black male which occurred on the highway in the area of 6700 Upland Street on Thursday, February 26, 2026.
THE CITY OF PHILADELPHIA IS OFFERING A REWARD OF $20,000 LEADING TO AN ARREST AND CONVICTION FOR EVERY HOMICIDE.
Suspect Description: Brown-complexioned male in his late 30s to early 40s, having a medium to stocky build, approximately 5’11 to 6′ tall. At the time of the murder, he was wearing a dark jacket with white fur around the collar, blue jeans and white-soled sneakers. He was last seen on foot fleeing south on the 2100 block of South 68th Street.

The Liberty Bells are back! It’s time for our annual awards-season celebration highlighting all of the people, places and things that make Philly so very, well, Philly. 

Unlike those Hollywood awards shows, the Liberty Bells are 100% people-powered.

That’s where you come in.

We’re currently seeking nominations in five categories. You can learn more about each category below. 

You have until March 13 to get your nominations in. We’ll tally up the submissions, name finalists and open up the public voting phase from March 23 through April 3.

Winners of the 2026 Liberty Bells will be announced during Visit Philadelphia’s 30th Anniversary Gala on May 14.
