Reflecting on the resurrection of Christ, Bishop Williams reminded students, faculty, and administrators that the risen Christ is at the heart of their faith and makes all the difference. |
| Following Mass, members of Student Council presented Bishop Williams with Gloucester Catholic gear celebrating the new school year before he joined students and faculty for refreshments and conversation. It was a wonderful opportunity for the GC community to begin the school year together in faith and fellowship. |

Student SpotlightCONGRATULATIONS, RILEY! Gloucester Catholic is proud to announce that senior Riley Fitzpatrick has made her verbal commitment to continue her academic and athletic career at the University of Cincinnati!An All-State swimmer and standout member of the Gloucester Catholic swim team, Riley specializes in the 100-yard breaststroke and 200-yard individual medley.At last January’s South Jersey Interscholastic Swimming Association Invitational, she captured the 200 IM title with a time of 2:07.98 and posted a 1:03.53 in the 100 breaststroke.Riley credits her family for inspiring her love of swimming, sharing, “My mom was a swimmer. Her mom was a swimmer, so it really inspires me to keep swimming.”Congratulations, Riley! We’re so proud of all you’ve accomplished and can’t wait to see you make your mark at Cincinnati. We’ll be cheering you on every step of the way! |

Mr. Michael Mendenhall | Math Teacher & Assistant Athletic DirectorA Temple University graduate and former four-year Temple football starter, Mr. Mendenhall brings extensive collegiate coaching experience to GC, including nine years at Princeton University. Employee Spotlight: One Last Season for Coach Murphy Gloucester Catholic proudly recognizes Coach Casey Murphy ’99 as he enters his final season as head coach of Gloucester Catholic Football.Coach Murphy’s commitment to GC has always extended beyond football. He has spent countless hours helping young men grow through lessons of character, accountability, perseverance, teamwork, and leadership.This season is especially meaningful as his son, Frankie, begins his senior season as a Ram. We are grateful for Coach Murphy’s dedication to his players, his alma mater, and the football program, and we hope the entire Ram Family will come out to support him and the Rams throughout his final season. |
