Steel is rising in Camden, and so is the vision for the future of health care in South Jersey.
That vision will be the focus tonight as more than 1,000 guests gather at TRIAD1828 on the Camden waterfront for the 16th Annual Cooper Red Hot Gala. Since its founding by co-chairs George E. Norcross III and Philip A. Norcross, Esq., the event has raised nearly $33 million to support Cooper University Health Care and its continued expansion. This year, The Cooper Foundation expects to raise nearly $4 million.

There is no test administered by the New Jersey Department of Personnel. Candidates are hired based on their completion of an application with the Township of Gloucester.

The 14-day restraining order is an important step as the outlets challenge the administration’s decision to bar them from the White House.
However, the order has not yet translated into restored access for all affected journalists. Reporters from the outlets remained barred from the White House grounds Thursday, including a Politico reporter whose press pass was confiscated by the Secret Service.

On September 11, 2026 at approximately 6:20 AM, the suspect was captured on surveillance video skulking around the 20th. & Morris Streets area, peering into homes and walking through the alleyways. After about ten (10) minutes the suspect spotted his prey putting out the trash and moved in. The SUSPECT forced his way through the front door of the residence and a struggle ensued. The victim valiantly fought off the suspect, who fled the residence empty handed.

FREEHOLD – A 19-year veteran Corrections Officer at the Monmouth County Correctional Institution (MCCI) has been criminally charged with facilitating and encouraging a physical altercation between his son and another juvenile while off-duty, Monmouth County Prosecutor Raymond S. Santiago announced Thursday.
Anthony R. Sanchez, 44, is charged with second- and third-degree Endangering the Welfare of a Child, second-degree Employing a Juvenile to Commit a Criminal Offense, and third-degree Aggravated Assault.

New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection Commissioner Ed Potosnak kicked off Climate Week by announcing the addition of three regions to DEP’s Resilient NJ program, an innovative effort that supports teams of multiple municipalities, community-based organizations and consultants in bolstering regional resilience and making smart investments that protect homes, businesses and infrastructure from flooding and other climate impacts.
The newly formed teams in the Delaware River Sourland Mountain, Cumberland County Bayshore and Burlington County Southwest Pinelands regions bring the total number of regions to nine within the nationally recognized program.
